I hate this lockout. No, not because of the lack of basketball, I could honestly not care less about that, its because everyone in the general basketball forum thinks they are attorneys now. For Jeff, just finished season 2 of Community and what an awesome show, kudos for introducing it to me here across the pond. I loved the paintball episodes, the "pool/billiards" episode, Pulp Fiction/Dining with Andre episodes are my favourite so far.

So let me ask a **** up question...

This guy Bernie from Syracuse, they said he was molesting these 2 kids from the late 70's to early 90's...

That's like 15 years or so. The one kid was supposedly around 12 when this started.

Is it really molesting anymore when he was in his late teens and 20's or is he just gay?

I mean if it were true, it's horrible, the kid is still borderline defenseless in his early teens, but later teens to 20's and it's still going on?

That's not really molesting anymore, it's consensual.

And yes, if true I understand his head must be all **** up and confused from the early abuse, but I just though it was kind of weird, I never heard a grown man being with a grown man called molesting, it's usually what it is or it's straight rape like jail or Pulp Fiction.

Well the point I was making, was if this was true this guy should be locked up and the key thrown away, but why embarrass the victims and talk about being molested in their late teens to late 20's?

At that point you can literally and physically fight someone off more or less, so even if it's true shouldn't that be kept more or less for the trial instead of for the public?

It must take enough for the victims to come out and put themselves out there, why further their exposition?

It's a legal case. All of the facts have to be brought out. Even if it was consensual in the adult years (hypothetically), the charges for molestation and rape for the victim as a minor cannot be lessened or taken away.

Yeah, I know you meant. Unfortunately, often times all the details have to come out in order for the best defense to be made. I feel bad for people who have to have stuff like that come out especially if they were trying to make sure that it wouldn't become widespread or general info.
