Ugh, Schaub being hurt really sucks as a Texans fan, but I also have him in one of my leagues and I have no backup right now. So, of the available guys I can pick up who is worth a damn?

Alex Smith
Carson Palmer
Tim Tebow
Andy Dalton
John Skelton
Sam Bradford
Colt McCoy
Christian Ponder
Matt Hasselbeck

Eww. I guess I have to go with Tebow, but I'm actually considering Palmer. How sad.

You think I should go Tebow vs NYJ this week or maybe take a chance on Alex Smith vs ARI or someone else like Palmer?

Damnit Schaub!

I was down by about 30 and Nelson and Peterson almost brought me back but the other guy had Finley so he was able to hold on and win by 6. Lame.

Damnit Schaub!

I'm facing that same dilemma. I have Tebow and Big Ben (who's on bye). Really debating picking up Carson Palmer against Minnesota (who just lost Antoine Winfield again).

Used the Jets DST last night instead of the Jags or Pats (available on the waiver wire). Oops. 4 points, but hardly what I expected (and may need).

There's a lesson here -- Denver is not friendly to opposing DSTs now. With this offense, you're not going to see many turnovers. You also won't see many points, so if you need a DST with low upside but very low risk of negative points, the team playing Denver is a good choice. Other than that, look elsewhere.

Benched Greene today. My logic? He just hasn't been able to get into the endzone, so his upside was high single digits. Ooooops.

Even Greene's mom had him on the bench.
