What a God damn beast. Raw elite atheticism at it's finest. Only good thing about that gray key was Amare in it.

Now imagine if he played defense, was as smart as, and hustled like Lou. Even after micro, he would be insane to watch, and we may have bit the bullet on that crazy contract. But then again, if he was smart, he wouldn't have asked for that contract, because he would know that we wouldn't be able to sign other big names. Plus we would have won a couple of chips. Oh well, it is fun to relive the past, while adding some what ifs. :D

this one below is from just recently in the offseason, i would say a few weeks ago? I didn't watch this game, but that was some serious air. He's still jumping like this after all these years after surgery. Dude made a deal with the devil.

Ahhhhhh as much as a I hate being reminded of this stuff, I agree. It brings back memories of how good Amare was playing for the Suns. Just like watching old Matrix highlights.

oh this thread again.....Amare lost some athleticism for a few years after his surgery, but was pretty much back to pre-surgery amare athleticism in his last year with phx.

i have no idea why this thread keeps coming up every year.

young amare used to TRY and dunk on, over and through everyone...hes a much smarter and better player now, and still cant play defense.

Thanks for posting this Dirtydez, fun to watch and good memories.

We had a tradition in my house up here in Seattle during these years. Whenever Amare dunked on someone I'd yell "AMAREEEE" and my little girl who was always playing nearby would yell "What if his momma is watching Amare?"

I miss that, Sarver you mother $^&*$^*&$...
