Great game between LA and Anaheim. Ducks down 1 but on the power play to close the third.

Yeah man they seem to play us really good IDK why but it seems like we can't beat them. I got to hand it to them they out played us last night and made us look bad.

Man has Ovie been ice cold over the last month or so, I have a feeling anyday now he's going to call out Brue Bouderu (sp) and their going to get into it

Don't discount the fact that San Jose's coach was a coach under Babcock in Detroit. Where do you think they got their style of play?

My Canes are killing me right now. I love 'em, but they are absolutely stinking up the place right now. Eric Staal is reportedly playing through an injury, but he has not looked right at all through the first 20 games.

Somethings definitely wrong with Staal, some people are pointing to that hit on Marc early on in the season and saying that might be the source of some of his troubles.

87 returns tomorrow night. And the peasants rejoice.

And it sounds like they are sending the full HNIC crew to the game for a big pre-game. I love Crosby, he is obviously fantastic for the game, but I will be very happy when this doesn't become an hourly story among hockey media types.

I 2nd that. I can't stand the amount of coverage his this has been getting. I guess some good things have came from all the coverage buts it still annoying.

I'm glad for him. I don't particularly like Cindy in any way, but it sucks to see a player of his caliber kept down by injuries

I will say it seems like some of the media stuff is being brought on by Crosby and/or the Pens themselves. They've sat him in the locker room after every practice session waiting for media to come in to give no update at all.

Versus taking Bruins/Habs off the air to show us Pens/Isles. Yay

San Jose ends up with the President's this year IMO. And then loses. Again.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Crosby hasnt talked to the media in over a week. And before November, his interviews were infrequent at best. The big media frenzy was around the November 11th home date because the GM indicated at some point they would rather him start with a home game. It definitely wasn't driven by Crosby. Do you really believe he enjoyed the same questions and answers every day?

Great win for The Wings vs The Ducks last night for us. I don't know how damn Saku Koviu was the 1st star with 1 assist and Coglaino was the 3rd star when all 4 of Zetterberg, Franzen, Datsyuk and Brad Stuart all had 2 points each Stuart even had a shorthanded goal all be it on a empty net but still.

I rather take a win over a bunch of "stars" anyday. One fact I found mindboggling is Detroit hasn't lost 6 straight road games in 24 years that is insane. Man the last time they lost 6 on the road I was 3 years old.

Should be a lot of hype tonight for Crosby I bet it's going to make the top story on all of Canada's major sports shows. I don't expect a lot from him maybe like 20-25 shifts just something to ease him back into a NHL game the worst thing they could do is overwork him and he goes down again but your playing The crappy Islanders so that shouldn't pose that big of a problem

Crosby's return is airing on CBC right now. Not sure if it's a known thing. I didn't know until 5 mins ago.

Aaand he scores with a pretty nifty backhander.

The goal is already up. The building is loud tonight.
