Well, there's always the David Kahn possibility. Maybe he decides that he wants to pay Diop 10 million a year till 2016, so Milicic would have a back-up. I honestly think that this might happen.

It would be sad to see Gana leave the league. He might have no other skills whatsoever, but he is a great shot blocker and has the most awesome song made just for him.

in a vacuum there's plenty of names on the list I'd like (stuckey, afflalo, chandler, thad young, nene, gasol), but I hope we keep in mind we don't want to stunt future growth of recent picks and take up room for upcoming '12 '13 drafts, so I would actually not go for any of those gusys. instead i'd look for efficient backups - guys like dunleavy, mcroberts, who will fill valuable one or two year roles and then go away - or young guys with upside - earl clark, derrick brown. I do like aaron gray as a center and jeff foster works in the short term efficient backup mold.

I might actually prefer our GM take a gamble on some guys that went undrafted this past spring, cheapo and with potential upside:
