+1

(I hope he's worked on his skills this off season but all I read about him was: Wife having baby, Missing meeting/not there representing the Jazz during lockout/In Miami  )

As much as I've hated the lockout...

...I'm not going to punish myself for what they did. I'm going to every game and watching every game I possibly can.

I think he is number guy. I want see Hayward and hope he is now number 1 sniper in NBA. I like burkes what I saw YouTube. Kanter???? Idont know a out this one. He seem like he not good to play NBA. Maybe wrong one is me but I don't like. Let's take this time and know we can hear thoughts of everyone again and yell for Jazz again together!!!!!

Does anyone know if the new CBA includes the flex cap? I'm gonna be insanely disappointed if the fans had to go through all this crap, just to be right back with the same old "buying championships" model.

http://ken-berger.blogs.cbssports.com/m ... 3/33514559

* Luxury tax rates: The same dollar-for-dollar as in the previous CBA for the first two years. Starting in Year 3, the rates increase to $1.50 for the first $5 million over; $1.75 for $5-$10 million over; $2.50 for $10-$15 million over; $3.25 for $15-$25 million over; and an additional 50 cents for each additional $5 million (same as previous proposal).

* Repeater Tax: A dollar-for-dollar additional tax for teams that are above the tax line for a fourth time in five years (same as previous proposal). Owners at one time had been pushing for a $1.50 repeater rate, while the players wanted 50 cents. Voila, compromise.

Thanks seejaydeja! When it states "The same dollar-for-dollar as in the previous CBA for the FIRST TWO YEARS", does that mean the first two years that a team is over, or the first two years of the CBA?

It sounds like the 20 year old age limit is in the plans, but likely won't come into effect this year.

That is insanely good news for the jazz who potentially have 2 top 10 picks in what would be a stacked draft.

Unfortunately, it's stacked with big men. Have my fingers crossed for Harrison Barnes or Jeremy Lamb.

I'll worry about the draft after I see how the team plays. Players who plan on being winners and players in the league dont tank. Coaches can experiment more freely developing for the future after they turn out to be not playoff material but not before training camp.

I bet we'll be one of those teams who get the 3 consecutive games in a row 3 times

Yeah, the no Sunday play is for sure going to give the jazz at least two b2b2b's. We're like the Chick-Fil-A of NBA teams.

I really can't complain though, I was settling in to the idea of no NBA this year and was really bummed out. Camp is less than 2 weeks away, then we have a free agent frenzy, a couple of preseason games, and then it's Christmas/Opening day.
