Im a nervous laker fan about our point guard

Post#1 » by silversurfer » Sat Nov 26, 2011 6:33 pm

Fisher can't guard my grandma. Blake plays like a deer in headlights when the lights are on. I honestly think 2nd round pick Darius Morris will get pt and is the teams best point.

Who can the lakers bring in to help Kobe. Will there be a series of waves

Baron Davis would look good in purple and gold

I would like to see Glock get a chance, especially if shooters are going to be used a lot in the offense.

Don't be. Amnestied players will solve it for us.

Update: Forget about amnesty. Back to being a nervous fan...

there's still hope.

blake/morris are better as traditional points than triangle guards. and if lakers cant get dwight for bynum/filler

there's always plan b in getting CP3/okafor for bynum/LO (however small a chance that may be). but it still makes sense

and then there's always deron on an expiring contract

What do you mean? That is textbook.

Is Baron in decent shape?

The Lakers PG's will probably be the same to start the season it doesn't make sense to bring in Baron because it creates a logjam and no one is going to want to trade for Fisher or Blake to clear up the logjam.

I think the Lakers can go one more season with Blake and FIsher I think its more important to add a shooter and a backup C I think they'll replace Shannon by having Barnes and Ebanks get some PT at backup SG.

i dont think baron would push the team over the top. i dont know if the team could handle, kobe, metta, lamar with his tv agenda, and baron with a new head coach and a new system. however, hed be and upgrade over fish

baron/dfish would be a solid pg lineup

he's 32 so its not a long term fix but he's a good player

ppl forget how well he played for the cavs - he helped them beat the heat + he shot 41% from 3 in a cavs jersey and averaged more than 8 assists as a warrior - the last team he was on a team with good players

+ baron will only cost a vet minimum since cavs are probably going to amnesty that 13m/2yr contract

I am nervous, also. I am not sure how much Fisher was able to stay in shape with all of his responsibilities to the players association. Being 35, I do know this, you have to work harder the older you get to stay in shape. Something tells me Fisher is going to fall off a cliff this season and be absolutely horrible.
