Tough choice here, I'm not sure if I have a little too much offense in my starting 5 and not enough defense. I'll take one of the best perimeter defenders of all time. May start him, not sure.

DPY, can hit the corner 3 and an underrated passer. A decent rebounder, but I am taking him because he is one of the few perimeter defenders that can anchor a defense from the SF position.

I'll take a C here.
Image
Mark Eaton. 10/11/5.6 blks, DPY and gives me 48 minutes of defense at the C position and an anchor when Russel is out.

David Thompson.

Explosive scorer, good shooter, decent efficiency (52 FG%) and fantastic jumper and dunker. Gives me a go-to perimeter guy when Dr J has to sit.

does anyone even care about spacing ? there are some teams with one legit 3pt shooter...

Spacing is overrated.

And 3-point shooting doesn't automatically mean spacing threat.

I think its underrated in these games. There have been some teams with pretty poor spacing that I have seen beat other teams.

As in my situation, right now I have a few guys who are decent (Payton is 33 3PT%, Erving had range, Thompson had range, Webber good mid range) but I'm still in the market for a spacer. I wanted to get Thompson, because he's the better player, and get my spacer a bit later, because that's all this guy will do (space the floor and play D).

I do see some issues with a lot of teams tho.
