He deserves a big suspension/fine and some professional help. This is not an isolated incident. He is a dirty player and needs to be kept under control. I thought he should have been suspended for some of his earlier hits on QBs.
Players in general need to be protected. The fact that you can intentionally injure someone and only receive a 15 yard penalty is such BS. So I can go after the knees or Brady or Rodgers and take them out and take a 15 yard penatly? Then their team loses them for the whole season. Not fair at all. 15 yards for roughing the passer doesn't come close to a few games missed by that QB.
With other players the number one protection against crazy cheap shots is that a lot of times they backfire and the one trying to pop the player gets hurt. You saw it last week when one of the lions went in for a late hit on a packers receiver and ended up missing him and hitting Houston I think and taking him out of the game.

That shouldn't really be a factor.
The NFL is a business after all. It's bad enough for one of your premier players to get ejected on Thanksgiving Day, but then for him show no remorse makes it worse. Nobody was talking about any of the games at the end of the day.

He called and apologized to Goodell today
