Denver lost alot of scoring (Chandler & Smith), maybe we can 1st rounder for Barbosa.
Maybe Masai can throw us a bone here.

^Jonas v is a good rebounding prospect but what Anthony Davis is doing in the NCAA is unreal, his shots are high quality, he's a rebounding and blocking machine, he's said to be the only prospect in this years draft that could be a franchise player, if there is anyway BC can get that 1st overall pick I'm all for it aslong as were not giving up Demar derozan .
I just want some thought, who do you guys think the raptors are going to target December 9 when free agency begins.
carbon butler?
Tyson Chandler?
Jamal Crawford?
nene?
tayshawn prince?
Jr smith?

I'd rather not over-pay any of those targets. I'd rather B.C just pick up a Vet Center for the time being. Let us continue to suck this year.

I don't get the logic of trading a true C while we have Amir, Bargs, Ed while potentially adding Anthony Davis...
I don't think teams like to trade a potential franchise player in the pick for an unproven NBA rookie.

How about CJ Watson,Pargo,J LIII ,Bogans and Bulls 2nd round pick?? For you guys, the only thing it does is give yall a extra pick.Yall can dump Pargo,JLIII and Bogans right away,Watson is a useful expiring and ya get a 2nd rounder. What ya think??

Just to be clear - you guys have your 1st rd. pick, correct? If you have NBA Finals aspirations (and you still have Charlotte's pick), wouldn't you be more amenable to giving your 1st rd. pick up (being that such a season would result in the pick being in the late 20s)? For the record, as long as the Bulls get a SG (in addition to Barbosa to help with scoring off the bench), I have the Bulls going to the Finals.
I'll let the masses here decide how good that offer is, but I'd take it, if I were Colangelo and I had my sights set on signing somebody and needed additional space under the cap in order to do so (in this case, it would shed about 7 mil. off of our cap).

^^ I'd do it for the Bulls late 1st round pick, definitely not for their late 2nd rounder though. Net result after waiving those guys is Watson+Bulls 2012 pick for Barbosa, which seems reasonable imo. The pick can be combined with other assets (maybe Ed, depending on what happens with our pick?) to move up, or maybe we'll be able to grab a PG late in the draft. We also have a bit more cap room this summer (this opens up about 4.2 million), which we can use to go after an FA this summer (unlikely), or perhaps absorb a young player that someone wants to dump.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to convey to him - that if we could obtain their 1st rd. pick, we might hold out for the higher pick.
BUT, since I don't believe Barbosa will yield a better pick (at any point during the season - I think picks in this draft will hold value, moreso than 2-3 months of Barbosa), I'd take the cap savings now, particularly if it could be put to better use elsewhere, in acquiring a piece for the present and future. If BC doesn't believe there is anybody out there that fits that mold, whether it's in the amnesty wire or in Free Agency, then yeah, go ahead and hold onto Barbosa and hope to get a higher pick for him, and/or young player.

Bulls could be amendable to giving up their 1st round pick.If everything Reinsdorf says is true, the Bulls might be in the lux tax for a few years. So they may not wanna hold on to it as it will be a cap hold for the Bulls.

In that case, I think you have a deal. Bulls get a productive scoring guard who doesn't really fit on our rebuilding team, and we shave a bit of capspace, open up more mins for Bayless, and get a late 1st rounder. I like it.

At this point since the lockout is over, we should target for Charlotte, Utah, Houston, Nets picks . wont be easy but if we have 2 top 10 picks with 1 in the top 3 would you pick
A: Drummond, Kabongo
B: Barnes, Drummond (if we can)
C: Kabongo, Barnes
Those are my top 3 we need for 2012 picks .
Drummond
Barnes
Kabongo
exceptions:
Anthony Davis
Perry Jones
Austin Rivers

I also remember how Ed Davis's dad said that hes gonna put on alot of weight(muscle) on ED through the off-season .. we shouldnt be looking to trade him , he has amazing hops and great defence .. he showed what he can do on offence when he gets minutes and hes a double double machine ..
I still believe that Dwayne Casey can smarten up Andrea.. and if Andrea won't do anything this year, trade him for respectable players with a top 10 lotto pick and ill be happy .. JV with Ed or even Drummond/A.Davis would be crazy .. although i wanna see Andrea and JV front court really bad .. i want Andrea to step up and do something..
Klieza is gonna be good by the time games start .. so we start Kleiza or JJ ? i wanna see what JJ can do as a starter for now if we get a top 10 pick , and JJ is good at SF keep him and get a PG like Austin Rivers or Toronto born Myck Kabongo..

Davis is our most valuable piece that we are willing to trade. You will not get another lottery pick without him being involved in the deal. Period.
I believe there is no hope for Bargnani and people will see what I mean come the start of the season. He hasn't had the interest or desire to rebound or defend for the past 5 years, why would he start now? I pray to God we do not have witness the travesty of a JV and Bargnani frontcourt where our No, 1 pick has damage himself (much like Amir did this past season) for Bargnani's mediocre offense. Best case scenario is he is traded but you won't get a lottery pick out of him either. Maybe something protected for a few years and some expirings..if you're lucky.
I believe we start JJ. He's the better defender and who knows whether Kleiza will be healthy enough by then.

To me, and this might seem odd to some, but there's 2 people I want to trade.
Leandro Barbosa
Ed Davis
Leandro is an expiring and will be a certain serviceable back-up/6th man on most contendors. I think he could net a pick in the 20s for the '12 draft.
Ed Davis... I think he nets a top 15 pick in the '12 draft. I'm not impressed with him really, and the major reason is because I want Anthony Davis on the team. I think a strong front court is needed. Val/AD does that.
I'm sure some people would love to have Ed Davis.

I don't see Austin Rivers working here...he has such low BBIQ. At this point i think AD goes number 1 overall...and i'm really not high on Drummond unless he shows some effort... I'd be happy with the number three pick taking Harrison Barnes, swapping Kleiza and Barbosa for a mid-late first rounder...picking Kabango or Marshell
going into 2012 with this roster would be great
Bayless/Kabango
Derozan/Weems
Barnes/JJ
Davis/Amir
JV/Andrea/Alabi
obviously you look to move either Davis or Andrea down the road... i'm hesitant to deal Davis for anyone but AD at this point... unless i'm sure it'll get us AD I don't want to throw away a good piece just to make room.

I bet you that Banks can do this all over me if he's playing with my friends.
