I would guess AA would make a trade similar to the Brett Wallace-Anthony Gose trade. Where he trades him for a higher upside, "raw" prospect who's in A ball somewhere.

Only problem is that Wallace was still regarded as a legit prospect as most the league seemed to be unaware of his mechanical issues with his swing and his liabilities in the field. I'm afraid that Cooper does not have that same pedigree. Cooper probably gets packaged with some other pieces such as Marsinick and Sierra.

Cooper proved to be a huge liability defensively at first. He also has very little power.

I don't think there'll be much interest in him. He'll probably be part of a larger deal.

A 1B with no power, no defense, and PCL-inflated performance?

Nothing short of an all-star in return will make trading Cooper worthwhile.
