Sorry, I'm mostly referencing a few fans on the general board, mostly Kings fans. I get what they're saying, but they have no idea just how bad Joel was. There are a lot of us who are Magloire fans now just because of how bad Joel was, and I think its safe to say Dalembert is clearly better than Magloire.

Its kinda like how we trash Mike Miller a little bit at times on here, but Chicago would absolutely kill to have him.

1. I just read that entire article, and he was optimistic about joining the Knicks as well. He said they're going to be very much in the same position as Miami in a year or two. But hopefully the family thing gets him over the line for the HEAT.

2. Just watching that 9 minute video posted above shows how good Dalembert would be for this HEAT team. He has some offensive IQ smarts. He doesn't clog up the lane like people say, he sits on the wings, goes through the paint looks for a open shot, if he doesn't get it he moves out of the paint again. Also he has an under rated jump shot, he can hit it out to the elbow, he hits one in that video, but i've seen in on many occasions of watching Kings games last year.

Also what most impresses me is how tirelessly he works on defense, he pushes hard to originally get back on his man after a miss (in this case Dwight), he works hard to stop the PG from getting to the basket on a pick and roll. When the shot goes up he makes sure he gets a body on his man and gets an easy rebound.

Man I want Miami to get Dalembert so bad, after reading your clip in the OP it made me optimistic, but after reading the entire article it's almost swayed me he might go to New York.

The one thing keeping him from going to New York IMO is they don't already have a big 3 in place. I don't think they're going to pursue Dalembert as aggressively as Miami because they know he's going to sign a multi-year deal & they need the additional cap-space next off-season to get CP3.

Was just thinking that! If they sign Dalembert to a MLE deal then they don't have enough to get a max free agent, they would have to trade Dalembert or one of their "Big 2" which would be pretty deceitful on their behalf. I hope Dalembert knows that.

Knicks have more tradeable support pieces. They'll the room. I heard they have to anyway since CP3 would have to take a big paycut otherwise. PEACE.
