wtf why? because kobe has more individual skills than all 3 of them, has more rings than 2 of them, AND hes still not done. Those 3 are only dominate due to their size/position, esp shaq and magic.

Rik Smits was more skilled than Shaq. Who would you take?

shaq duhh...due to his size. what is this kobe vs rik now? kobe is way more skilled. Rik was skilled no doubt but not skilled long enough or win anything so lets keep him out of the convo since hes not in the top 10

No, it's to illustrate that the "more individual skills" argument holds absolutely no water. Smits had more "individual skills" than Shaq, and wasn't even remotely as good. Now, obviously Kobe has a much, much better case against some of the players you mentioned. But it's still a frivolous argument.

Pretty good list.I would rank the top ten differently but the guys in their are right besides Shaq.Shaq is without question in the top twenty but in the top ten he should have been replaced by George Mikan.
So here's my top ten in order.

1.Michael Jordan
2.Kobe Bryant
3.Magic Johnson
4.Larry Bird
5.Bill Russell
6.Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
7.Wilt Chamberlain
8.Tim Duncan
9.Oscar Robinson
10.George Mikan

Im just saying kobe/jordan are one of the few that dominates their postion with skill and not brute power/size/height. They maintain their level of elite play over the years shows their durability. Putting shaq/magic/bird before kobe is not fair in my book. Rik was skilled but not dominating skilled franchise type player.
