Well, it's not at all clear from the text of the agreement that you can only use it once per contract. I imagine the text will get a legal scrub at some point and the lawyers will make it more precise.
I've been taught all my life to value service to the weak and powerless.

There is apparently a "stretch" provision that can be used repeatedly. Extends the remainder of a contract payments (and cap hit) out over several years if you cut the player.
