Hearing Toronto interested in Holland (not Soria) from #Royals. Other clubs, too, but Royals are not inclined to deal unless overwhelmed.

Holland's a pretty intriguing bullpen guy. Had an ERA of 1.80 pitching in the 7th inning the beggining of last season and took over 8th inning duties after the all star break. Stuck out 74 in 48 innings so he is a strikeout pitcher and his minor league stats suggest that too. Can run his fastball all the way up to 97-98 but sits at 95. Dont know that we'd give the closer duties to someone that's only saved 4 games in 6 chances in his career.

strange, wouldn't you want to keep a player like this? why is he available?
not that I wouldn't love to have him in our bullpen...

Who wouldn't be, with the numbers he had last year?

Him and Bailey would be a huge boost to the bullpen, and could add 3-5 wins next year alone.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Why wouldn't they be interested in Soria? Asking price too high?

Many in the media speculated that Soria may have an arm injury that he's hiding. I believe his salary is quite friendly.

Sign Pujols, trade Lind for Holland.
