they said they'll have all the normal meats, plus turkey and mashed pototoes.

i seriously want to see some dude carry a turkey on a stick and cut a piece off one handed. that would be impressive

Mashed potatoes on a stick, IMO.

Good thing about some meats... low fat, low carb, high protein. Turkey for Thanksgiving is good.

Back to training.

alright, since i lost my beloved 3rd gen ipod nano, armband combo and i can't believe how much refurbished ones are going for. does anyone use a 6 or 7th gen nano at the gym?

how well does it work? do you use an armband or just clip it to your clothes? how does the touchscreen work when your hands are sweaty? etc etc

Time to bump this for the New Year. Usually I get annoyed by all the resolution people cramming the gyms, but it's time to take the next 3 months to get in really good shape for spring.

I've pretty much lost all my holiday weight gain and I'm back on track.

Good luck to all the new resolution makers.

Oh yeah the gyms will be packed for the next month or two before they return to normal. I've slacked off the last few weeks. Starting a new round of my custom P90X routine. Since I've done the regular P90X a few times I mix in the P90X+ routines as well as some of Tony's One on One routines.

From what I've seen of P90X2 it looks good, there's some new stuff but also some overlap with the original. There's only so many ways you can do a pushup or pull up or curl :)
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This is only my second straight year playing MSCR. You don't get to decide what level you play at, and they place you right? Only reason I ask is that we decimated our league last year and it wasn't that fun, for either side. We were supposedly bumped up this year, but from what I've heard it isn't our decision where we play.

I'm in week four of p90, it's my second time through. Recently I found my strength shoes that I had from high school ten years ago. I can't find any of the work out routines that go along with them. I'm thinking about wearing them to do plyometrics and legs and back. Do you guys think this will help me get a little extra vertical or should I wait until I finish p90x and make up a strength shoe routine from what I remember from back in the day?

i'm not sure if you get to pick specifically but it must ask you to rate your team somehow. i remember our captain (who was terrified to lose a bunch of games) trying to get us into a lower league than we should be in.

So I'm 185 right now. I'm 6 feet and broad shouldered so my target weight is probably 170-175. If I got down to 170 I'd probably need to be pretty ripped.

Do people strongly recommend the p90x program to get into good shape? My main question is if people stick with it and if it is a good motivational tool. I have my own workout routine I could get back into, but sometimes these types of programs can add an extra level of motivation.
