Big Pitt looking spry, he has no problem backing down Randolph. He def has good size for a C, Deandre Jordan looks like a toothpick next to him. He could be big for this team if he keeps on getting fit and strong. I have high hopes for the kid.

I'm hopeful about Dex. I think he gets some game time this season based on the schedule. Can't wait.

Looking good. I think a big problem that kept him in the NBDL was his slow feet on defense. He already had a better post game than the rest of our centers, but he was lost on defense. With a short training camp, I hope he has enough time to learn the system well enough to be effective. Spry is an excellent word to describe his appearance. Dude's work ethic is paying off. PEACE.

Pittman would definitely contribute more on offense.

I heard he is down to 270is down from over 300. That is just weight but no news on how his quickness conditioning and strength were affected.

Dexter Pittman spoke briefly to the media and said he has lost 50 pounds since being drafted last season. As a big man on the roster, he has taken it personally when people claim that the Heat lack inside presence, calling it "a slap in the face." Pittman thinks very, very highly of his teammate Joel Anthony. "We're big guys. You saw what Joel Anthony did. He altered a lot of shots and blocked a lot of shots. He was one of the best players in the NBA last year." Well, maybe not.

According to his pre-draft measurements, he weighed in at either 310 or 303 pounds (Two weights are shown on the page?)

So he's now at 260 or 253. Either of those are more than good enough IMO.
