I have to say the jumper looked pretty consistent to me as far as release point goes. If anything he wasn't jumping as high on those set shots, which is generally pretty common.

I'm sure most of you would have seen this on Bonnell's twitter, but in case you didn't.

http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2011/1 ... rcent.html

My favourite part.

Gerald Henderson wrote:“My ballhandling, I worked on a lot,’’ he said. “I feel like I’m a good 3-point shooter. For a while there, my first two years (as a Bobcat), I just didn’t shoot them. So I never really got any confidence.

“I shot them pretty well in college. Just getting more reps and comfortable shooting the ball from that range, I feel I got a little better at it.’’

“My knee does feel better. It will probably never 100-percent go away, but this has relieved a lot of the pain.’’

So it means there's still a little pain on his knee?

Anyway, I'm excited to see him play and his improved outside shot.

Reading the article looks like there always has and always will be pain.
But it should be better than last year.

The trainers can dope him up for the pain. They just need to make sure he doesn't end up like Brandon Roy.

I shot them pretty well in college.

32.5% on 2.1apg is shooting them "pretty well" Hendo?

Okafor wants to talk with you about not getting his shot blocked.....

i am loving the bonnell updates on twitter, just wish i could access twitter at work. real bummer. i will expect you guys who can access twitter during the day to keep up updated.

if hendo really did improve his jumper and handles while improving his knee, then watch out. i would be happy for status quo for hendo this year, with a leap next season. but if the leap happens this year that would be stellar.

If all this Hendo talk is legit (added handles, 3pt shot etc) then he will be in the running for the leagues NBA MiP award.

The starting SG position is his to lose, he plays stellar D and Coach Silas has a green light policy.

He better hope so, SG is going to be moving up on the Needs-to-Improve list in the next couple of years, especially if that knee continues to cause trouble. 2013 Shabazz Muhammed is looking like one heck of a ball player

Hendo is my pick for MIP definitely, the stars are aligning for him in terms of opportunity.
