LETS TANK!!

Post#1 » by Beas4pres » Fri Dec 2, 2011 3:54 pm

Its a short season and if we tank we can benefit in the future.

You guys will think I am crazy.

Lets trade Nash and Lopez to NY for there first round Pick and Shumpart/fields

Then let hill go to Celtics/Heat/NY/Magic

fully tank in effect.

We get our pick and the knicks

if we get 1st pick we pick up AMARE LIKE .... DRUMMOND from Kentucky

then with the Knicks pick get John Henson from NC...I can see him being a SF like tayshawn prince. our front court is set for future.

then we try to sign Harden with our Cap space

looks like this

pg- Brooks, Shumpart
sg- Harden, Fields
sf- Henson, Dudley, Childress
pf- Drummond, Morris
C- Gortat, Frye

this future would look bright

Harden could even handle the ball

sorry bro, but i can“t hear no more of that tank ****. why should we even tank, we can sign some fa in 2012, when some big contracts expire. lets see if we do some minor trades, but i just cant see the suns trading major pieces.

Props to the great one

Hahaha you don't watch much college ball huh?

1. Drummond plays at UConn NOT Kentucky
2. Henson is a POST player....he is the complete opposite of Prince lol
3. I don't know how good our future would be with 3 PF's starting?

my bad I meant UCONN for some reason i was reading a Anthony Davis article right when i put that up.

Henson plays like a SF and could succeed like that.

and to be honest your last little note

IT WOULD BE BETTER THAN IT IS NOW with no starting players in the future..

NOT ONE SUNS PLAYER SHOULD BE A STARTER except NASH AND GORTAT

Don't get me wrong I like Henson a lot but he is no SF man...and would NOT succeed at it..he's simply not quick enough! Guys would blow by him..

he is extremely long, fantastic shot blocker, great rebounder, even his mid range is improving, BUT the dude can not hit threes and lacks a certain quickness due to his 6'10/6'11 size FOR THAT POSITION (3)! No NBA coach would play him at the 3 guaranteed!

How many threes have you seen him shoot this year? Anyway .... I do agree with your last comment :)
our team would be a lot better with Drummond and Henson...but they are both lotto pics!

he hasnt shot threes i think its his role on the team. He isnt a three point shooter he is an outside shooter and he does play some post ..

WELL IF NOT BENSON then we find a SG

LEBRYONT NASH or what ever his name is

Such a troll.

Yeah, your ok with drafting a player that you have never seen play, yet dont even know what his name is, and seem to not even know what position he plays.

LeBryan Nash is a SF/PF, not a SG as you suggest.

Dont get me wrong, i am all for tanking, but have some real reasoning behind it and do it in a non trolling way.

oooooooooooo you said Troll

So saying to get 1st pick and getting DRUMMOND a PF comparable to AMARE is a troll idea

then I said John Henson is a sf/pf and is someone that body style and athletic ability as prince is troliling

then I dont know hwo to spell lebryan nash first name for adding a T is trolling because he can play SG but is on an undersized OK ST team

KERRSED trolling Myck Kabongo isnt living up to his hype!!!

SAY we tank and trade nash to NY or ATL for 2012 first round pick

so we have 1 pick in top 5
and another in 15-25

who would you guys pick?

to fit our team and help us have a future.

I want to see us trade Nash and start the rebuilding process but I never want to see my team tank. Trading Nash to New York makes the best sense for both parties. The best scenario would be develop our young talent (while losing most of our games), get a top 5 pick, get a pick in the mid 20s from the knicks, and sign a superstar(s) next summer. BUT I'm a suns fan and know that nothing ever happens in our favor, lol

I'm taking Harrison Barnes, kid has superstar written all over him. and the knicks pick I would take Mason Plumlee, people rag on the kid but I've always been a big fan of his game. Good post moves and intensity, worth the risk.

if we went with Harrison Barnes as the top 5 pick

i believe our later one should be kabongo or teague

then sign a FREE AGENT sg Harden and pf humphries or mcroberts

future we could have

pg- brooks, kabongo or teague
sg- harden, dudley
sf- barnes, childress
pf- Humphries or McRoberts, Morris
C- Gortat, Frye

that would be sick!!!

How about we let the season start, watch a few games and see if it is the right decision to "tank". It shouldn't take long (well, maybe it will...) for management to realize whether we have a shot or not, then we can start with the pipe dreams.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

You're right it shouldn't take long to see if "we have a shot" because it should take zero games. Our team is a bes and has zero shot at anything meaningful.

Not sure if you call it tanking, but trade Nash and either let Hill walk to try to do some sort of S&T. If we can resign Lopez for something cheap I'm ok with it. People had way to high of expectations for him. He still has potential, but no matter what he's a 7 footer who can block shots and his mobile with a decent offensive game.

Do the Knicks even have a pick to trade? Pretty sure they traded them all away.

Is it just me or does Lebryan Nash sound like the best player ever?

I mean, as in the whole history of forever ever ever?

You may be right, but I would at least like to have this team play together a little bit in order to see who to trade and who to keep. Maybe/hopefully some of our players stock could rise to help us get younger pieces.

I don't wanna tank, but we have to tank. Can't wait to see more photoshop galore at the end of every game we lose, Kerrsed.

we wont need to purposely lose, we won't be good enough to win games even when trying this year- that is if our roster remains the same.

Why? We were playing much better even though we had a starting SG that couldn't care less if he played, and coach that kept playing him. It reminds me of the movie Slap Shot, when the guy on the other team is playing piss drunk, and the coach keeps playing him knowing he is sh*t faced.

Dudley was playing very well as a starter. Chilldress was under utilized. Now that we have Morris, we don't ever have to play Warrick. Lawal had a good run in Poland, Lopez says he is better, VC will be gone. I'm with many others, who want to see them play together first. But tanking is moronic, and it won't yield us crap. Stern hates tankers, unless they are the Spurs, and there are many teams much worse than us.
