He has no power at 154, and isn't a natural boxer. Only picked it up after highschool... he never lived and breathed it. It kinda puts that Angulo win into perspective... and see how limited Angulo is. He would get killed if he faced anyone with world class skills.

Canelo looked gassed in the third I think, needs to work on that conditioning, anyways I don't see a fight with Chavez anytime soon, maybe Kirkland?

I think Alvarez will steamroll Chavez... he um... sucks and isn't any where near the boxer/puncher that Alvarez is. The only thing that Chavez has is size, and there is no way that Alvarez will fight him at 160 when we see Chavez making 25 lb cuts after the weight in, which is unheard of.

Alvarez isn't facing Kirkland... both are GBP fighters no need to do the fight for **** and giggles at this point. There is no demand for it whatsoever.

I don't think Alvarez looked gassed at all by the way.

Yeah...definitely a Canelo/Broner showcase. I don't see either having much difficulty tonight. Anything about Cintron being this "dangerous" opponent is from several years ago and not 2011, because he's looked like crap this year.

BLH said it best... Broner is closer to being a Devon Alexander type... His one real fight vs a legit guy who was coming up... I thought he lost. He has been cherry picked all the fighters he has faced. The fact that he is bragging about this meaningless title only reflects his douchbagness. He has done nothing worth to earn his inflated ego.

Agree on Chavez/Alvarez, Chavez would get hit a ton and doesn't have the skills to hang with Alvarez. I don't know if that fight happens next for both, I highly doubt it but I know a lot of Mexicans who want to see that fight. It's a fight that will sell on PPV.

I wouldn't quite rule out Alvarez/Kirkland. In-house promotion that is easy to make, Kirkland is coming off a huge performance in Cancun against Angulo, etc. It would be seen as a next step for Alvarez but I'm not sure what GB's plans are for Kirkland, they'll likely want to build him up from that performance. Maybe someone like Carlos Molina is next for Alvarez.

I have as much interest here as I had in Hopkins vs Jones II.

I wouldn't pay a dime to see it, that's for sure. Why are they giving Margarito another payday? The guy's a scumbag. Shame on the promoters.

I am paying for Cotto, and it has a loaded undercard.... you have Wolak/Rodriquez who was in a damn war, Rios who is must watch who is facing someone who will give you a fight, and now that he missed weight that might balance the fight more, and well Jones isn't all that good but facing Lujan who makes good fights.

I really hate that douchebag MArgarito and a part of me wants to see him get mamed...

I have Margs winning.

No emotional attachment, but I for one want to see this fight.

Have to find a bar that is showing it tonight,

To update on Rios, he made it under 147 this morning, which was the agreed to morning weigh-in for the fight to go on as scheduled. He came in at 146.6. This is definitely his last fight as a LW, JWW just got a hell of a lot more interesting and it's a good division already.

As for the main event, I'm picking Margarito. I just to think that pressure will be too damn much for Cotto to take again. The flipside is that Cotto landed his own good shots on Margarito in the first fight that could potentially do real damage the second time around. It's a toss-up fight and I can't wait for it, personally. I doubt it reaches the first fight, both fighters aren't the same obviously...but I'm expecting a great fight because of their styles. As Rasho said, it's a great card that includes the rematch of a legit top 3 FOTY candidate in Wolak/Rodriguez and Brandon Rios is a rising star in the sport because of how he fights, not to mention that both of his fights in 2011 are also FOTY candidates. Rios/Antillon was only 3 rounds but damn, those were great rounds of action.

EDIT: I'll post the Showtime fights as well. I got Abner Mares winning a razor thin decision over Joseph Agbeko, that's another toss-up fight IMO. The undercard is Vic Darchinyan vs Anselmo Moreno. I got Moreno by UD.

Mares will win because of age... Moreno will win via stinker. I like the odds, I am thinking about putting some money on Moreno.

I want Cotto to beat Margarito. I just don't know if he'll have the stamina to do it.

LOL at Margarito saying Cotto hits like a girl...as he can't see because his eyes are swollen shut. And didn't he also say look at this face? With his own face being jacked.

Cotto picked Margarito apart, he didn't want the fight to end. No one did...
