Trade Checker update to reflect new CBA

Post#1 » by LakerLegend » Sat Dec 3, 2011 8:56 pm

When will the trade checker be updated to reflect new trade rules, IE within 150% of salaries vs 125%?

Lakerfan17,

I would imagine sometime after The new CBA is finalized.

Are you working on this now? I got this response:

Due to 2 and 17 being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. 2 and 17 had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did not happen here (only 2 met the condition). This trade does not satisfy the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

"2 and 17" are alphabetical for BOS and HOU, and I believe they would now be subject to 150%.

As I understand it, this is a version of a product of RealGM, so we may simply need to be happy with what we got. However, if you're working on it, it would be nice to allow posters to alter trades that don't meet specific restrictions, instead of having to completely re-enter each trade to try them.

Thanks for your hard work.

dream34 posted this response on the other page.

"We have a lot on our plate right now, but upgrading that is on the to do list. We've been really busy adding new features to the site, and try to balance that with keeping everything else up to date."
