I don't think two bust for a great player has ever worked in the past, but one can certainly dream.

Dan Uggla for Omar Infante and Mike Dunn.

Callaspo will be expendable if the Angels sign Ramirez. His defence at 2B is probably awful, though. -12 UZR/150 in 2009 when he last played 2B.

They'd also probably covet Cecil (who could be nice there). We don't have much in terms of a starting rotation so keeping Cecil might be necessary unless they added incentive we could flip for something substantial.

edit: dunno why I posted that here, but this is bumped now. :/

If Cinci is still having thoughts of trading Votto, why not some sort of three team deal involving Oakland. Oakland has pitching that Cinci wants, Toronto has prospects that Oakland wants.

Drabek, Cecil, Snider, Cooper and Thames to the A's

The Reds get a #3 (I even heard a smart baseball person say #4), a closer, and an average regular. That's not nearly good enough for them.

Labeling Morrison as a great player but Snider as a bust is really unreasonable. The only thing that can make that argument remotely sensible is that Snider's played 2 more "seasons" in the majors, but I don't think that really matters considering Snider is still younger than Morrison.
Good Lord, the little stoner's got a point.

Dan Uggla for Omar Infante and Mike Dunn.

Uggla had one year left in his contract.
