Baylor has had an easy schedule so far. Their first test would be against West Virginia on Dec 23

Its hard for both of them to average a lot of points since baylor has scoring guards and lots of depth and is team-oriented.

I'm quite concern for Qmiller. People say he's still not 100% recovered from injury thus explains his lack of lateral quickness. But he was never known for his athleticism or quickness he gets by using his handle in high school. So far, he hasn't been able to get by people. Alot of his points came from going inside and open 3s. He hasn't done much pull up jumpers either. I'm hoping he expands on his offensive repertoire as season goes on, and shows he can play the SF position too. I know it's still early. I want this guy to improve and dominate.

Unless Drummond start to turn things around this draft is begining to look like Davis, Barnes, Sullinger, maybe P Jones and Kidd Gilchrest... but it is still early reputations are made during March maddness.

yeah but I dont see a lot of true all star turn your franchise around tallent. Barnes could be but he seems to be missing handles and confidence to drive and force the ball down peoples throats and his passing could improve. To be fair though, the team is sturcuted inside out and he has a sprained ankle. Like to see him in march again

Davis has tons of potential and I like him a lot...Kidd Gilchrest seems like a good solid player but if he improves his shot watch out, I like him alot also.

P Jones is a tweener, not sure where he fits in really Tim Thomas kinda player.

Wrong....

No he wasn't "very" athletic or explosive BUT he was much quicker then what he is now. All you have to do is look at his highlights and it's obvious. His handles were a part of how he got by but it's the fact he has trouble with his lateral quickness that he can't get around. I don't care how good of handles you have unless you're a Harlem Globetrotter you're going to struggle with defences when you're moving slower then they are; pretty simple concept.

So I agree his recovery is THE concern but no it wasn't just his handles (no one gets by on JUST ballhandling) but he wasn't incredibly explosive either (ie/ that's the way you would describe Lebron)...he had much better quickness and better change of directions. If he gets back to that pace then he is the best SF in this draft easily.

Northwestern was actually a 2.5 point favourite for this game. Winning by 23 was a very impressive win by Baylor today.

Somewhat wrong. The biggest driver of teputations are made during conference play. Scouts have the opportunity to schedule what matchups they will want to see. Its not easy in March, and many teams are out by the end of round two.

This year is a bit unique in that two teams have such a large number of prospects in Kentucky and UNC, so theire performances or lack of could have a big difference.

Typically only a few players will be helped by March Madness. Where players typically rise is in conference play.

Not sure if y'all care but someone on nbadraft.net says he got a source from baylor organization that PJ3 is closing in on 7 feet tall and says he's currently 6'11.

No he wasn't "very" athletic or explosive BUT he was much quicker then what he is now. All you have to do is look at his highlights and it's obvious. His handles were a part of how he got by but it's the fact he has trouble with his lateral quickness that he can't get around. comparing him or anyone else to Lebron is kinda not fair to state if they dont match up they are not athletic. Miller was smooth, quick, change direction and could finish above the rim NO?? is that not athletic and explosive. \i am not saying he could jump like VC but he wasnt a floor guy either.. reading the rest of your post how do you start off with WRONG,.\

As for post below... During March is when players make it or break it usually. Tallent raises to the top and unknowns that were looked at can move up drastically. Yes two teams have tons of tallent but you still have Duke Ohio Baylor, Memphesis etc that have a lot of tallent. During the tourney you see them play a lot of games in short period against the best teams. Of course the tourney is a great stage.. I am not saying it is the be all and end all but it is great stage to raise or fall
