yeah man, i feel you on that... but we have to stay positive... it could also be a discussion on how to acquire the players Dwight wants (CP3, Ellis, Smith, etc.)

i'm so worried right now too... because this is seriously the most important meeting in the franchise's history

we need to also prepare for the worst. the best we can hope is he is willing to give otis 1 more move to get him some help. Even then it will be very hard for otis to find a team that will help us keep dwight with the type of trade assets we have.

It's gotta be how they're going to handle his exit. What they're going to say, where he wants to go, everyone on the same page kinda thing. You know Dwight's not pleased with what we have going on right now, what else could they possibly be discussing.

fwiw - i don't think you're going to get any confirmed bad news regardless of what happens in the meeting.

even if dwight says he wants out and that's that - both he and otis will agree to keep this private since it'll help orlando in the negotiations, which would ultimatly help dwight go where he wants.

not sure what kind of good news you can expect either - dwight's not signing anything before that second star gets here (good luck...), so imo - either way, all you're going to get from that meeting are rumors.

bad news isn't in anyone's interest to confirm.
and the only possible good news is that orlando will try to pull off what is most likely impossible - which also means no news yet...

No need to freak out yet. Dwight can say he wants out, but we don't have to trade him. At worst, we can amnesty players and try to clear as much cap as possible, and if it's not enough to get another big gun in here next summer and Dwight still wants out...then he's gone. It would be a mistake to trade him now, especially since others have shown that we can clear cap room.

This meeting is pointless, we already know the situation and knew it a while back. Howard wants to stay but needs to see improvment in the roster. And If Howard is traded it won't happen until the trade deadline anyhow.
