With Deron coming out and saying he's likely to resign and the rumors that lakers are already talking to NO about CP3, who else could Otis target with cap space??? I'm not liking whats coming out from around the league.

Not with cap space. I don't know if we have the pieces for those type of guys, so I'm guessing we'll have to go after FA next summer and sell Dwight on that plan. But if CP3 and Deron are signed, who else can we sign? The list of 2012 FA's isn't great after D12, CP3 and Deron.

I'm trying to be a bit more positive around here, but Otis makes it so damn hard. Why do we HAVE to OVERPAY everyone!!! They then become untradeable and you end up like the 2000-2010 knicks.

Otis is a dumbass, always has been. This move would mean Gilbert is gone. Also, the deal may be for our trade exception.

idk.. he averages worse rebounding and worse steal numbers than JRich and is just 1 point per game and a little under an assist per game better... why not just resign JRich if we are set on getting Crawford? We shouldn't do either...

Not for 11 mil a year for 3-5 years. We would have no shot at clearing space if that deal goes through. Meaning we would be left with praying that NO gives us CP3 for Nelson/R. Anderson/ Harper/ Picks... Crawford is not getting us over the hump and would nearly kill any chance of getting that type of player here... I would rather hold off and find something else at 11 mil.

I think its too much money for him & I really don't see how he helps us defensively. He's too inconsistent for my liking. Atleast we know Otis isn't sitting on his ass, but damn
