I will say it now. If the Magic trade Dwight to LA no matter how good a package they get back, I am done with the NBA and most likely RealGM.

Wow, I hope the rumors about RDV selling the team (because Dwight is fixing to leave) isn't true :-/... but this BVW news is making me a bit worried and depressed

Anyone know where I can sell Season tickets for face value lower bowl row 12. I will even knock off a couple hundred.

DavidBaumann33 David Baumann
Bob Vander Weide essentially told Dwight Howard how much the Magic want to keep him in Orlando.

:nonono: ... then he steps down... not good

EDIT*

David Baumann
Solid sources indicated Vander Weide made 1 am phone call to Dwight Howard in recent days. Vander Weide was thought to be intoxicated.

wow even worse...

ugh, I expected to lose Dwight but what a lousy time to step down. Makes it look like the whole organization is imploding. Gives the appearance that the owner is ticked.

Would you really prefer going through the draft? Maybe, ok ..

But as much as I have said I didn't want it, or how bad it is, or how stupid it is from Dwight to want it, IF he really says trade me or I walk .. Otis should check what's available.

We should think about our team in the first place. If we could get pieces in return that could make us a good team again sooner than going through the draft, put your emotions aside, we should consider it .. No matter how bad we hate the idea of trading him

The organisation has to make the right decision. If he really wants to be traded, you explore it. If not, let him walk & go through the draft. But from the organisation's POV, a team with Hedo Turkoglu&Jameer Nelson as your best players isn't gonna sell tickets.

This City does not need a championship contending team, it wants it, i want it, but I also have convictions and trading Dwight breaks a rule, you do not let people walk all over you. If Dwight wants out you let him walk. I'd like to see him take millions of dollars less for not staying and deal with media attention that comes with being in the BIG MARKETS.

Isn't BVW married to one of the devos's daughters?

If and only if Dwight wants out, then trade for cap relief and multi picks for 2012 is the only way to do it. letting him walk is not an option. we cant depend on one pick a year to rebuild this team.

I know I'm not laughing. That's exactly the sort of thing that could factor into him leaving - who wants their boss ringing them, drunk, at 1am? Phenomenally unprofessional if true. Wonder if that's why VDW is on his way.

Cosign.

Trading him, I could recover if it was to anyone but the lakers. I get that it's business, but my personal feeling is if we are going down (rebuilding) then we are taking the lakers with us, and not helping them by handing them our star on a silver platter. Call me petty. I DON'T care.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

If Dwight told me that he only wants to go to LA, I would call him up at 1am drunk off my azz calling him an azzhole too. But, of course, this is heresay. Who knows the truth from the rumors at this point. But, things look like they are going south and I may never watch or talk about NBA ball again.
