Thats 3 things.I'd actually be more content with his current post game and for him to be a 80% FT shooter,I don't know if he'll ever be a 35%+ 3pt shooter but I think refining his mid range game and having more confidence in it like 08-09 is definitely doable.

I tend to think the opposite though. If Wade were to work on his long-range game and become a legitimate long range threat, it would force defenders to play up on him. This would allow him to take the shot or run by them for the easy basket. Now, defenders always play back and allow him space so that he can't get the easy layup.
Also, Wade developing a better long range shot would free up space for our sub-par (understatement?) center position to grab rebounds without having to fight through as many people when Wade drives.
