So, to recap:

3)BVW retired.

5)Otis trolled the Lakers by demanding Kobe and Bynum in return for Dwight.

I say CP3 goes to clippers, and we wait on Dwill.

Dwill will not sign to stay in Brooklyn if Dwights not coming IMO.

Sounds like Dwight will not be traded, nor should he be

Arrogance of Laker organization thinking teams will just give them their stars makes me sick

If Dwight and CP3 do end up there, I am done watching the NBA, what would have been the point of the lockout?

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Today was overall a good day on the Orlando Magic front. We got some bad, some good, and some weird.

wow if W's are offering Curry for Paul, safe to say CP3 should be going there!

best way to end the night hearing Otis make a joke out of the Lakers. Thanks Otis.
Also Clippers refusing to dish Jordan and Gordon helps us a bit I suppose.

I think it depends. If they had included Gordon in the deal, I think there's less incentive for CP3 to resign with the Clippers. But, of course, leaving Gordon out mitigates the value of their trade. Not sure which affects which more.

Nevertheless, CP3 remains untraded, waiting for Otis to come scoop him.

I don't think Chris Paul will extend with the Clippers or Warriors. If he goes there, he will go to New York in the offseason.

I would rather get Deron if we can anyways. That seems more possible. We could clear some cap and sign him in the offseason. Then resign Dwight. That would be the best case scenario.

The Deron route is looking more and more like the way to go, especially because it's looking like Nene will resign with Denver, and Chandler might go to wherever Paul is going. If no one is going to the Nets than there is no reason for him to stay there, and what better place to go than Orlando if Dwight's staying. By that time we would have amnestied Gil, maybe used the spread (does that still exist in the new CBA?) on Hedo and cleared cap to sign both him and Dwight. This route also doesn't rule out the possible trade for Ellis this season.

Could try to see if a third team would get involved to help us out, but that may be tall order to fill

Ya I really have no clue if there is any realistic way of trading for him. Unless Deron demands it, we will have to be patient when it comes to the hopes of turning him into a Magician.

We could just do a 3way trade that send Iggy and Ellis to ORL. Okafor to PHL. While sending JRichJJ Ryan picks, cash fillers etc (whatever the **** they want).

We get what we need, defense and scoring. PHL gets the center they need. GSW gets replacement for Ellis and other assets.

:)

Then we could sign a MLE PF. Cut Arenas. Imagine this lineup

Jameer/Du
Ellis/Q/Liggins
Iggy/Turk/Liggins/Harper
Bass/FA/Harper
Dwight/FA/Bass

Scoring, Rebounding, Defense, Ball handling off the bench. Would be nice. Our Salary Cap would be at 58 Mil. Not even sure what the new cap is.. :)

Nice to hear that Otis got some balls. I'm tired of hearing from my Lakers and Heat friends that Otis will trade Dwight for Bosh or Lamar Odom. I said Otis is stupid but not that stupid.

I liked these tweets bout Dwight, seems they're finally believing we're not gonna donate Dwight to anyone
@sam_amick Sam Amick
On the Dwight Howard front, I'll be surprised if he gets moved anytime soon. That's the growing feeling among many around the league.
@stevekylerNBA Continuing to hear same song from Dwight Howard camp... he wants to finish what he started...needs Magic to get him help..
@AlexKennedyNBA Alex Kennedy
Chris Paul and Dwight Howard situations are playing out very differently. Hornets trying to trade Paul vs. Magic trying to please Howard.

This tweet even made me hopeful for something to happen soon
@stevekylerNBA Steve Kyler
Jason Richardson still talking, Golden State would do a sign & trade with Orlando... not sure if Monta Ellis would get swapped in deal.

Let's go Otis !!

Does anybody know the last time besides the Miami 3some that a max player signed for less than the max?
