Looks like Frimpong is heading to Wolves on loan. Good choice, imo. He needs games, and PL experience and he'll get the time there.

Looks like Santos has a bad ankle injury, will be out for a while. Bad choice to play him by Wenger when he's our only healthy FB and the other three are hurt already. We'll now be playing a line-up of 4 CB's, for at least a couple weeks until Gibbs is back.

Vermaelan, with Djourou at RB.

God forbid one of our CB's gets hurt now, we could see Squillaci :o

In case anyone missed it, remember Carlos Vela, on loan at Sociedad?

I'm not surprised he can do that, I'm surprised his team wasn't two goals up in extra time though.

Not too worried about four CB's vs City, or about Squillaci tbh. Think he's a perfectly fine option.
Not really keen on Vermaelen needing to play every game until Gibbs is back though.

On the plus side, Chamakh's ineffectual performances can only help to convince Wenger to buy a new striker in January.

I'd rather play Miquel than Squillaci, tbh. Luckily, by the time we have another CL game, Sagna, Gibbs, and Jenkinson will be back.

With our luck we'll get Milan, and Tevez will be playing.

Tevez can play? I guess being registered and sitting on the bench doesn't make him cup tied?

I think he's still eligible because he never played a game.

Thanks Arsenal for letting Eboue come to Galatasaray.

Tonight showed more than the Olympiacos game why we need a new striker. Van Persie was having a bad game before his goal, and as a result we didn't remotely look like scoring.

It's the number one priority for sure, and the one I think we're most likely to address in January. Only a couple weeks away and we'll hopefully sign a reliable name. I want Podolski personally, and Sow would probably be my second choice. They seem the most likely to be available in January of the names mentioned. My preference is Podolski because of his ability to play on the left aswell.

I still hope we sign one of the young, creative guys: Goatse, Hazard, or Eriksen. My preference being the one of the first two, because of their versatility and ability to play on the wing aswell as in the middle as an advanced playmaker. But, none are likely to move in January.

I'm expecting this to be the last year we see Arshavin, and Rosicky (contracts expiring) amongst others and we'll need more cover on the wings, and maybe someone to take Gervinhos spot in the first XI.

Big game next sunday, can't wait. Really wish Sagna was playing.
