Will Spo improve his offense...??

Post#1 » by We-Are-Lasers » Wed Dec 7, 2011 7:09 pm

With so much time off, do you think Spo has finally fixed his offense? Or are we doomed for another season of players being misused and getting our points from fast breaks

Spo improving the offense this season is like Nikki Minaj admitting her butt is fake, won't happen.

My hope is that Spo has learned to make adjustments quicker. It took him forever to realize that Bibby is nothing but garbage and bench his a** in the Finals. Then you have Terry putting up something like 23 ppg, on 58% shooting during those last 3 games.

Carlisle destroyed him in the Finals.

The lockout might have been a blessing for a video rat like Spo. I'm sure he had enough time to dissect all the games from last season and devise a system that better utilizes the talent we have. We were the #3 offense. It's more a question whether Wade and Bron stay within the offense or break off for hero ball. Also, can we get a center than can control the boards so our guys can get out and run for those easy points. Fast break points are freebies, and we get a ton of them due to our defense. If we rebounded better, we could run even more. PEACE.

He has got to do some improvement somewhere. Heat got neutered in the Finals but with good work put in by Spo I believe the Heat will be getting that major girth swag back. / End Rant

+1. My real issue with Spo is him not seeing things quickly enough, especially during games. It was heartbreaking to watch Dallas do the same stuff over and over and over again in Game 2, just to see Spo dancing on the sideline like a helpless little puppy who had too much coffee.

I'd like to vote for options 2 and 3. We've had 3 years of Spo with pretty much the same vanilla, bland and lacking innovation offense. Why would it change now unless that stratagem comes in the form of a mandate? The players will have to take the initiative on simply being active off the ball.

Get ready for another round of Trust the System.

He doesn't need to improve his offense. Lebron and Wade need to actually run it.

Uhm no, he does the same thing every year since he has been the coach, he is not doing anything offensively.

Bosh once said Spo lets them do whatever on offense, it will SADLY remain that way.

And also he IS slow to make adjustments. It's sad that fans can see things he doesn't. I thought he was a numbers guy? NUMBERS DON'T LIE EITHER! He looks at stats and it took him awhile to learn, like someone else said, that Bibby and Big Z were terrible together. Lowest PER in he playoffs or something like that for Bibby lol.

THen again Bibby was taken out of his comfort zone and he absolutely sucked.
