Wade needs to improve his fadeway jump shot and FT. And I do think that he should lost 10-12 pounds and regain his quikness.
I remember a MJ interview after he drop 50 on us in 1997 that he choose to lose 15 pounds (even though was muscle mass) to relieve the pressure on his knees and ankles.

Wade does look slightly slimmer or leaner in that video... I think you can see it around 2:37...

Wade is a god, he still has the better half of a century to put in All-star caliber work.

As for his own to-do list, he noted last season's career-low 75.8-percent foul shooting, down from his career best of 80.7 in 2006-07.

"I've been trying to work on that," he said. "I need help there. I want to get on that."

Am I just imagining things or was Wade's FT shooting never the same after that shoulder injury?

I'd agree, though not just his FT shooting, his jumper in general.

He hit a good percentage in 08-09, but even then, he just never seemed as smooth. He was on the path to developing a great jumper until that injury, it was getting better every season.

Well im sorry but i dont belevie you, if you go into a ketosis state you wouldnt even be able to think straight, let alone play ball. In ketosis state your body is fueling of the carbs you put into it, that means that you are around 3% bodyfat lol

Why don't you educate yourself instead of spouting off nonsense about something you obviously know nothing about. When in ketosis your body burns off your own fat cells which are converted into ketone bodies, not the carbs you intake. It's the opposite of a carb heavy diet which uses carbs as fuel. Your body can use 3 things primarily as fuel: fat, protein, carbs. A low carb/ketogenic diet forces your body to stop depending on carbs, which fuels glucose & the production of insulin (the only hormone that works to accumulate fat), and instead puts your body into a fat burning mode. That whole "couldn't think straight" is BS. You'll feel lightheaded for a few days, or at most the first week or so, when you drastically change from a carb dependent diet to a low carb/ketogenic diet. It's the adjustment process your brain takes from depending on glucose (i.e. carbs) for fuel to ketone bodies (i.e. fat) for fuel, it takes a little bit to adjust to, but once done so can be followed life-long if so desired. I've been doing it for months and have been losing weight quite nicely, losing fat while retaining lean muscle mass. There's a reason bodybuilders do keto, it works to cut fat while keeping muscle:

http://www.reddit.com/help/faqs/keto
http://www.amazon.com/Good-Calories-Bad ... 400033462/
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthrea ... =132598293

And the reason Cloud 765 has to do a keto diet is due to his epilepsy. The effect that glucose has on his brain is to over excite his neurons, causing them to misfire, in which causes seizures to happen more often for him. Depending on ketone bodies (i.e. fat) for fuel decreases that occurrence:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketogenic_diet

So if Wade is indeed doing keto then that's great! He'll be in tip top shape, have his body in fat burning mode, all the while retaining lean muscle mass. In essence a leaner, meaner Wade!

That's possible. I had never made the distinction from that point on. Would love it if he could get back above 80% this season.

Here's a nice little interview with D-Wade, I'll just put it in here. He really does look slim in the video:

http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=7326948

Regarding his jumper, it fell off dramatically during the 09/10 season, when he was out of shape and didn't have his legs under him. He started to develop some bad habits of fading away and what not and then also started to change his mechanics. Towards the middle of last season, it slowly came back though. I'm confident he'll be fine this year.

If Wade combines his more polished current post game, man-to-man defensive abilities, and 3-point shooting with his past jumpshooting mechanics and FT shooting we can see the very best of Wade as a complete player.

A leaner Wade will spell trouble for any player up against him, whether it's on the perimeter or the post. I expect greater numbers from Wade across the board this year, especially since he had a rough start in the beginning of last season.
