Nothing new, but here's what CP3's logic could be for not joining the C's.

A source who has spent time recently with Paul insisted yesterday that the Hornets star considers the Celtics a non-starter for his career, and has no intention of signing an extension to play with the C’s in the long term.

The team is simply too old to stir his interest.

“Their window is just too short for him,” said the source. “He looks on them as having one year left to do something, and that’s it.”

With Dwight, he can get the window of opportunity he wants :wordyo:

I wish I hadn't just called Bucher an idiot.

And since someone asked: if I had to put $ on it right now, I'd bet DH12 is still with the Magic on Christmas.

Some think it will be awkward for DH12 still to be in Orlando All-Star Weekend. Wouldn't it be more so to have him back in a different uni?

Unless Dwight signs an extension, the ASG weekend will be an awkward weekend no matter what.

I've never thought about dwight and the all star game from the angle of it being an awkward situation...
but ya, man, that would be REALLY awkward if he demands a trade before then.

surely he wouldn't want that much negative attention center stage.

I would love to have battier here he can then take liggins in under his wings like a Tony Allen type player

Nelson/arenas/Duhon
JJ/Q
Battier/liggins
Bass/Anderson
Dwight/orton

Amnesty Hedo unless we find a suitor arenas restructures his contract just need a upgrade at the 2 maybe Marcus Thornton and
we still could do trades with NO or GS

Ok, so .. Will CP3 extend with:

Clippers? No
Warriors? No
Celtics? No

Houston's at bat
Orlando's on deck

So. Now all he has to do is come out and say he'd only extend in Orlando. He has to do like his friend Melo did. & I think Dwight can make that happen. 1 phone call from Dwight (no wine, please) & we could very well be leading the CP3 race instead of being 5th or 6th

I know it's easier said than done, but Denver could've gotten more for Melo too .. CP3 has to inform his management bout his wish, they should tell ORL what they want, & Otis should make moves to create a package NOH thinks is enough to get Paul. Just like NY did ..

He should trade our players for expirings/picks & take back one of their bad contracts.

Voila, creative managing at it's best. Nobody expected Donnie Walsh to get it done, but he did. So why not Otis?

The Knicks have refrained from even making an offer with the realization that they lack the trade assets to satisfy the Hornets. Orlando is in the same situation as New York in their efforts to acquire Paul.

bleh. No news (yet) :/

About time I get some shut-eye. Battier would be tremendous, not buying Bucher's take one bit on Miami. I think Ellis and J-Smoove acquisitions seem plausible and make a whole helluva alot of sense.

The Lakers are hoping to move Pau Gasol for Paul with the hope that they can use Andrew Bynum as the centerpiece for a deal with Orlando for Dwight Howard.

From Wiretap.

Why would the Hornets want Pau?!? They are looking to get prospects, picks and cap relief. Pau gives them nothing but a big contract and no chance of a playoff spot, god i hate the media.
