Trumbo and Kendry Morales are the two saddest players in baseball right now

A-Rod's ego just took a blow.

Edit!!! I'm wrong... ARod 10/275. Can't believe I forgot that number.

Wow. Didn't see that one coming.

Maybe Texas will change their mind on Fielder now.

What a dumb contract, that is hilarious... Guess they wanted to continue the run of bad contracts past when Wells expires.

And the best part. I don't think this pushes the Angels towards being bigger contenders or favorites at all. Though I can see the Mariners ratcheting up their pursuit of Fielder to compete and not get overshadowed in the division.

They still had 15-20 million to spend apparently. This is surprising. I thought he was going back to the Cardinals for sure after the talks with the Marlins stopped.

A lot of negativity in this thread.

They just signed one of the greatest players of all time, I'm sure their fans are thrilled. If they win a World Series or two over those 10 years, the back end of that contract will be worth it.

Good for them.

they're in on wilson too around 70 mill over 5 years....not confirmed though, but the fish might swoop in if they do't give him the 6th year

Do they jays go after Trumbo?
