Warriors to Offer Tyson Chandler 4 yrs 60 mill :o

http://www.csnbayarea.com/blog/warriors ... eedID=5882

The ball is in Tyson Chandler’s court.

With NBA free agents allowed to officially sign contracts on Friday, Chandler has a deal from the Warriors in front of him worth more than $60 million over four years, according to two league sources.

The Warriors have made Chandler Priority No. 1 this offseason, and they hope to get an answer from Chandler on Day 1 of free agency. The hope is by Friday the Warriors will know if they have a defensive anchor at center or whether they’ll have to go in another direction.

In order to sign Chandler – assuming he agrees – the Warriors will likely have to amnesty center Andris Biedrins, still owed $27 million over three years.

Would be funny if the Warriors got CP3 and all of a sudden want a CP/Ellis backcourt

Since there really is no news, can you guys help me figure something out? Chris Sheridan in a radio interview said that the Lakes could trade Bynum and Gasol for Dwight and a bad contract. But he added that he wouldn't do that trade cause that would be overpaying for Dwight. Ping also said it was a good trade. The thought alone is extremely offensive to me, but what i want to know is how could it possibly be wise for the Magic to make such a trade? I see literally no upside to this. Is there something i'm missing?

Who needs Jason Richardson when you can get Larry Hughes & Gabe Pruitt .. Right? :-?

People are making moves, whether big or small... Atl getting T-Mac, NY getting Grant Hill, Warriors getting Chandler, Spurs amnestying R. Jefferson and getting TJ Ford, Mia getting Curry/Battier, Raptors getting Maglore

Nothing really huge from these moves... but they are chess pieces being moved... Otis is trying, I know... but it's never a good thing when the Warriors upgrade their trade assets... and as much as we're trying to get Ellis from them, we're also competing with them for CP3.

Warriors are at $49 million in Salary with 10 under contract. Including Reggie Williams tendered $1 mil qualifying offer. They could amnesty anyone including Charlie Bell and his $4 mil salary to sign Chandler outright.

"Team Sources" say the Warriors are still trying to get Paul, but for a package including Monta...not Curry. Could the Warriors later try to get Howard for a Curry package?!?!!?

We feed off of pain and misery... and hopelessness... only to go bi-polar and ecstatic when something huge happens

You can't escape it either

maybe
I think some of the feeling/fear is that the Warriors will end up holding on to Ellis and by July, the Warriors could then offer a better package to NOH for a S&T for CP3 :-/ (Ellis + Chandler + whoever, or Curry + Ellis, etc.)

they upgraded their trade assets imo

So if they trade away their assets to get Paul, who do they trade us? 15 million a year Tyson chandler and Stephen Curry?
