The owner wanted a system that didnt give players that force trades the same benefits as players who stayed. This would have helped that.
So did anyone else read about how they are looking to do rookie contracts ? I read they are looking at making the pay scale higher for players that stay in college longer. I like that idea. You can come out if you want but if you want to stay and compete two years in college, you can still gain a financial advantage for doing it. That would allow the NBA to leverage the college game more as a development league and they would get more mature players.
