Have you watched Miami play? He doesn't run the offense. Unless Melo is playing Point Forward.

Wow this is CRAZY. We'd be overpaying for Chandler, but on the other hand we'd finally have a good defensive/rebounding center.

Remember we'd still have the option of using the full MLE. And as someone mentioned above, I wonder if there'd be any chance of acquiring Nash in trade.

Nash
Hill
Carmelo
Amar'e
Chandler

Profit.

As @KBergCBS reports, Knicks preparing huge offer for Tyson Chandler. Source tells Y! there's scenario where Billups get amnesty, or traded.

KBergCBS Ken Berger
Can confirm @WojYahooNBA detail that one scenario in Chandler deal has Billups being traded. Amnesty also a possibiity.

For the Knicks to do the Tyson Chandler deal, they would be giving up on the hopes of signing Chris Paul as a free agent this summer.

Theres more to this guys.. There has to be.. Our front office isnt about to do some stupid shyt

If we trade Billups, where does the space come from to sign Chandler?

I am warming up to the idea. Easier to get some guards with MLE later on.

Chandler brings toughness, attitude, defense, rebounding, SIZE.

Just so happens the Knicks desperately need all of these things...

Just trade him to Dallas in a SnT for Chandler. You probably have to add a pick or something of a lil value. You can give him an extra year that way. Cubes seems to have accepted losing Chandler.
Getting something for him would be a plus.

This! I hate what has become of news reporting. The National Enquirer is the new standard of sports journalism.

Chandler is a perfect fit for the Knicks, filling in all the defensive holes in Amare's game, allowing Amare to be full time 4.

Also, Billups hasn't been great and didn't run the pick and roll very well anyway, so i don't think he will be missed all that much.

I hope it gets done. They'll need a point guard, would JJ Barea or Aaron Brooks (might be in China though) be available for the midlevel? Rodney Stuckey could work i think. Take a flyer on Pattie Mills?

Have you guys forgot about Steve Nash? We might have an okay to steal him away from the Suns.

I can live with that.

Would look good for Dallas too. Kidd, Billups, and Terry would make an interesting 3-guard rotation.

Especially if Hill is ready to bounce. Got damn I'm excited about this.
