I hope Miller manages to stay healthy and returns for a sophomore year.

I'm really warming up to a 2- year rule after 2012... but I still say that high schoolers should be able to go top 3 and stay on rookie deals 2 years longer.

What? Everything I've read today has said the opposite. What's your source?

Just playing, but the agreed they`ll talk about it during the season, and having it apply (Whatever they come up with) for this upcoming year.

Sucks to be Beal to be a teammate of two midget chuckers..., good thing Beal is good off ball and he definitely got freshman treatment during OT, he got no touches at all!

And it's not like he has a huge body of work to go on - he's fresh out of high school and was sidelined for the past year. What exactly has he done to garner or warrant all this hype? Am I missing something?

He's got the best skillset out of any other SF on the board.

It's obviously a wait and see with Miller to see if/when he's fully recovered from the surgery.

It's been only 3 or 4 months since Quincy has returned to the hardwood playing competitive basketball, so obviously his quickness and explosiveness won't be at 100%. It takes time for a full recovery and adjustment to the knee to stay low before playing at full force. However, if he continues to sustain this lack of quickness and explosiveness come March Madness, then it becomes reasonable to question his knee. For now, let's wait and see how he does because after all he has the highest ceiling at his position.

Before his torn ACL, he was one of the most complete SF with the best all-around offensive skill, length, and athleticism coming out of HS. Out of all the wing prospects from this year, I want a wing player that can potentially fill at least two or three of these needs that the Raptors are sorely lacking from the wing; shoot the three-ball, a play maker that can create easy or open baskets for his teammates, the ability to make something out of nothing when he has the ball in his hands and create his own offense off the bounce consistently, a go-to-scorer during the clutch, and contain his man at an elite level. Ask yourself, of the prospects in the year's draft, who is able to fill these needs the best while having a high ceiling? Maybe Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Jeremy Lamb, but they're pretty far behind Quincy in terms of being crafty and finesse with their offense. It's amazing what Quincy has shown prior to his injury. The body control at his size and polished finishing in traffic is a nice touch to it all. The smoothness and fluidity in his game speaks for itself.

still don`t believe to much in him, and he has the exact character of someone who will quit the raps on free agency..anthony davis and barnes are 2 guys i really believe would embrace without a problem staying in toronto at least 9 10 years and being THE FRANCHISE PLAYER

Miller looks so awesome in those high school vids, I just have a hard time believing he'll ever be the same again physically. Anything to do with the ACL is a huge red flag.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

What? Every indication is that an age limit change would be put in place for 2013 draft.......not the 2012.

I don't even see it in place for 2013 tbh. All they have done is created a committee to determine A) If they should even tinker with it in the first place B) if they change it when it should be rolled out.

The reason people are high on Quincy Miller is because he has a very intriguing combination of size, ballhandling ability and shooting. He has question marks, but it's not like people are simply pulling the hype out of thin air. Draftexpress has him rated as the #8 prospect in next year's draft.

I watched that game last night and Young did look pretty interesting. Then I remembered Jonas ripping him a new one at the under 21's and that made me smile

It was Patric's night, and Arizona is tiny. Not counting him out but I think he's more Dorsey than Dwight.

Harvard at UCONN is on TSN2 tonight at 7:00.
West Virgina versus Kansas State comes on after but I do not think either team has a draft prospect.

This. I was watching the game myself. Patrick clearly has a nba body. How tall his he? Looks PF height sorta. But Ya, I had to remember Jonas put in work against him this summer.
