You know what makes absolutely no sense at all?

L.A get Paul.
Houston get Gasol.
New Orleans get Scola, Martin, picks.

Now obviously the deal is probably more complex than that, but if that is the bones of it, then Houston (apparently) have the core of a deal for Chris Paul. Why the hell are they taking Gasol and helping Paul get to L.A when they could just send their pieces to NOH and get CP3 himself back?!

Another thing too... Butler is a really good player (even though he's 30), borderline all-star (I think he has made the all-star team before)... does this make the Clippers more prone to offering Gordon in their trade package for CP3 or Dwight? Just curious

I just posted thta on twitter. Blake and Jordan for Dwight? Hmmm?

wow lol well if the Clippers traded away Blake (plus filler) for Dwight... man that's tempting... idk

Keep in mind guys. under the new CBA deals can be stretched. so the clips could stretch Butler next year and still have cap space for Dwight.

So if the Clippers are signing Butler, Knicks signing Chandler, and Lakers trading for Paul.....can we officially cross those teams off for the running for Dwight?
I like this team

Not really if those are considered possible assets in a trade for him, which I think Chandler is supposed to probably be.

The Clippers are stupid if they pay that for Butler. Hedo`s salary would be similar and I`ll make a trade like this Hedo and Daniel Orton for Ryan Gomes and Randy Foye. Hedo can rack assist throwing alley-oops to Griffin and Jordan.

Breaking News: Chris paul + 3million dollars to Lakers for kobe's autograph. Lakers thought it was to much, but wanted to plan for the future.

Sorry, can you explain that? I thought it was waived contracts that can be stretched out - what "stretch" are you referring to?

The problem is we don't hear any deals for ORL... except that Larry Hughes will be around for training camp.
