Wait until you see what Nene and Dalembert get

It's overpaying but we badly need D. Badly. So it is worth a premium PERHAPS. But Tyson will get more than Noah and that's hard to justify. I thought Noah's contract is now entering the bad zone, but Noah is probably better than Tyson.

I don't know. I have mixed feelings.

he was the one lambasting the knicks for not getting in on the chandler running yesterday, but you could pretty much bet he will destroy the knicks for the signing as soon as chandler doesn't produce in some way

On Knicks-Chandler front, sources say it looks like Billups will be amnestied and Turiaf will be sent out in separate deal. No sign/trade.

Let's do it, make it official.

I'm maintaining my stance that this is a bad move if we're using our amnesty provision. Amare's health is a huge concern, especially for the amount of cap room he's taking up.

Like I said if dallas went ring-less and ended up getting bounced out the first round 3 years in a row with Dampier/Diop which was considered a good frontcourt rotation back then. Trades for Haywood, Stevenson, Butler and get bounced AGAIN out of the first round.

they trade for Tyson Chandler and they win a ring with the same exact team and coaching staff doesn't tell you something then I do not know what does.

Might as well fire D'Antoni now. He's a PG coach and it's clear you're never giving him a PG. So why keep him around?

Key points of day--

-Supposedly signed, or will sign, Chandler.
-Loophole can net us Paul
-Large question mark over PG position

baron davis is being amnestied. theres our starting pg like it or not.

See, I agree with this.

But we're not privy to inside knowledge that the Knicks brass most certainly is. Plan A's door may have very well already been shut.

And CP3 really was our only Plan A, cause there was no way Dwight or Deron was taking less to come here.

as long as they come out and say it that, then its all good

why cant ny roll the dice on those 2?

other then them having to take massive pay cuts to come here? they don't want to come here horribly bad like CP3 did and hes pretty clearly going to get a trade and extend here in the next few days

I'm loving this signing, Stat and Melo with this cat can live long and prosper.

Next year if we get better at point, and lose the Coach....

Then we'll be seeing some NBA action!

We'll be over the cap so chances are he won't be -- another team will pick him up.

i remember dirk saying that Chandler totally changed the mentality of the team.

Chandler pushed the guys in practice to get better and to play defense.
