Earlier, the Hornets and Lakers were reportedly searching for a third team, perhaps the Houston Rockets, to bring into any potential trade scenarios. But now, it appears the Lakers and Hornets are set to go it alone in what has to be one of the bigger blockbusters in a while.

Too bad the Magic couldn't work themselves in on the deal to get Gasol or Odom for Nelson/Bass.

I doubt it. Otis has always been a cool customer and never seems to rush things. He will let things play out and then make a few moves.

Honestly if Dwight gets later traded by us in any deal to give LA another dynasty, I dont know how I would feel about being any longer a Magic fan. Just thinking out loud here, lol.
