So let me get this straight, New Orleans WANTED three non-all stars, the youngest of whom is 28, and none of whom I believe are expiring. WHAT?
Okay, all three are very nice players, but you don't win jack with very nice players. Very nice players keep you with a low lottery, mid-teen draft pick that doesn't do you a bit of good. Dumb. Dumb.

Oh I'm done with the NBA period if Howard some how makes his way to LA.

Chris Paul to the Lakers is "done," league executive briefed on the deal tells @CBSSports.@WojYahooNBA says it's for Bynum and Odom.

the craptastic truth is he could just sign with lakers outright next year... he's got kobe and chris paul, the two players he is believed to want to play with the most.

I doubt it. Otis has always been a cool customer and never seems to rush things. He will let things play out and then make a few moves.

That's what we see. I'm talking about behind closed doors. I think he's banging his head on a concrete wall right now. The worst thing that can happen for the Dwight situation is Chris Paul landing on the lakers. And Otis "waits" to make his moves because he can't get the ones he really wants. Watch, we won't get jack. Just some more role players.

Earlier, the Hornets and Lakers were reportedly searching for a third team, perhaps the Houston Rockets, to bring into any potential trade scenarios. But now, it appears the Lakers and Hornets are set to go it alone in what has to be one of the bigger blockbusters in a while.

Is that last quote happening now or then? When is now, now and then was now. So when will now be now?

Nah, the league will threaten us with contraction unless we trade Dwight to Boston for KG's corpse. Then it can be 2008 all over again.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

We don't have many moves available, GSW is not going to bite on an ellis trade, and we can't take biedrins from them until they get a center. sucks sucks

i'm sickened that the league owned team has just gifted LA Chris Paul, whilst allowing them to keep Andrew Bynum, and are taking back Kevin Martin, Luis Scola and Lamar Kardashian.

who would buy that Hornets team now? zero assets whatsoever. should have sent Paul to LAC for the Min pick and nothing else, would have been a much bigger rebuilding piece.

seriously... sickened.

Anyways, NOLA will not keep Bynum, Odom and Okafor. I expect (2) of them to be trade bait for younger rebuilding talent for New Orleans.
