i Guess I was in the ball park with paul going to the lakers.. as I said, either a small market team with assets or a team like the lakers who also have assets and a good team in a big market would land paul...

on the other hand, tyson chandler's health history worries me, but he fills a need with this team.. not offensively at center, but on defense and he plays intense..

I was saying all along, that chris paul, no matter how much I love his game, was not a real option..

Thats a good point. He might be more inclined to come here now that we improved our team and he has a smaller role. Would be very good for us.

Have strong indications that Baron Davis would come to NYK at a discount if he clears the amnesty waivers. But are #Knicks interested?

1. B. Davis
2. Fields
3. Melo
4. Amar'e
5. Chandler

On paper, sure looks like a legit Eastern Conference contender.

I feel like it'll look even better on the court.

Melo/Amare/Chandler. The Knicks have the best frontcourt in the NBA, thanks Chris!

Can we somehow do a S&T with Dallas to get Chandler and keep Billups? This team would be great with Chauncey running it.

this is what i don't want though. i don't want baron going all crawful on us. focus on being a distributor and limit yourself to like 10 shots a game. then it might work.

I feel you, but who was he going to pass it to on that team....those guys were disgustingly bad.

Your only mild excitement about Chandler is going to disappoint a lot of people who thought you'd be jumping for joy.

Look down and you should find a thread where we are all cussing his name and calling him everything but a child of God.

Will the under the cap teams pass on Baron? How many teams have to pass before we have a shot at him?

I'm all for getting Nash somehow...But I would not mind B.Diddy right now at all.

On the bright side we get to see Iman and Fields play this season, that's right some players that we actually drafted!

No surprise that a large part of it is made up of "I was right" statements.

Which teams are under the cap? Maybe we can narrow this down and see if it's even realistic.

everyone under the cap. but he doesn't have a great reputation for being a pro in a bad situation. he aint worth the risk to most teams.
