Would you trade Douglas & Balkman for Ridnour?

In a heartbeat. That's the guy I wanted over Felton.

Shumpert will play PG. I honestly think he will be a surprise.

No to Barea. Get Davis or a 1 year PG and go for Steve Nash/Jason Kidd next year.

I think we have both the 2.5 million "teams with room exception" and the 1.9 million "bi-annual exception." But I doubt we're focusing on shooting guard, when we have enough options that someone will probably emerge, whether it's Shumpert, Fields, Douglas, or Walker.

Would a Sign and trade Chandler for Turiaf allow us to pay Chandler 12+ and keep(not amnesty) Billups?

If we can find a decent PG with the 2.5, I don't mind Fields/Douglas combo manning the SG position.

This is definitely gonna be a problem.

I'd say we're pretty close with Boston, but they're a team that isn't going to be hurt by a shortened training camp/preseason, because of their experience together.

I agree

I don't know, a solid defensive center is something we have not had in a while... chandler is not a superstar, but he can be a game changer.. look at that 16 rebound game he had in the finals.. Huge.... NBA games can change with a rebound here and a block there... I don't know if miami and chicago are better teams.. we don't know that yet, the knicks with melo and amare don't lack talent, just team balance... especially in the frontcourt..

Barea is no better than Douglas.

Dallas fans don't want him back.

you're better with both then one if that's all we can get. at least you can pull one when the other sucks. i expect a lot of pulling, pause.

Does that 2.5 also include whatever it would take to keep Purp? O_o

Shump wasnt even a real PG in college. Hes not a point right now. Hes purely a SG right now imo.

the lakers getting chris paul isn't a good thing for the nets:

dwight goes to the lakers; deron joins the mavericks

billy king is definitely breaking out in coldsweat.

Thank You. Everyone is forgetting we drafted a PG/SG. Maybe dantoni thinks he's ready to start.

we didnt get chandler to score points.. we got chandler to run the floor, rebound, block shots.. just think if that was chandler instead of jeffries last year on the receiving end of melo's pass vs boston... it would be nice to have a PG throwing chandler lobs, but honestly, we didn't get him for that..
