We don't need any scoring out of Tyson beyond put-backs. We have Melo and Amare for that. Now who we get to feed them is the question. Hopefully Nash or Felton next season.

On Chandler, if he stays healthy and gives us that elite presence down low and on the boards we've been screaming for then it will be a transformative signing. We can come out of the east THIS YEAR.

Wasting a year of Melo and Amare's prime to get CP3 on a bare bones roster was never realistic. This was the most sensible move.

Finally we have a definitive team. It's been about 5 years since the Knicks could be described as anything other than make-shift. In my opinion it's worth it for that alone.

Dallas said they weren't interested in Billups.

You guys need to relax with the Shumpert hype. We've never seen this kid play yet. It's not fair to him to have crazy expectations like that.

And how did you come to this conclusion? Crystal ball or have you ever actually seen him play a full game?

This is definitely gonna be a problem.

Well honestly Chauncey Billups wasn't going to be that dynamic point guard though. We still needed an upgrade at the PG.

Probably not. We also have the 1.9 million bi-annual exception and can offer any number of additional minimum contracts (which we are rumored to have already offered him).

I agree it would be good bring him back.

I think Miami and Chicago are still better teams than we are. I'd say we're pretty close with Boston, but they're a team that isn't going to be hurt by a shortened training camp/preseason, because of their experience together.

I agree

I don't know, a solid defensive center is something we have not had in a while... chandler is not a superstar, but he can be a game changer.. look at that 16 rebound game he had in the finals.. Huge.... NBA games can change with a rebound here and a block there... I don't know if miami and chicago are better teams.. we don't know that yet, the knicks with melo and amare don't lack talent, just team balance... especially in the frontcourt..

We will have that ugly iso offense that Miami and Chicago has now, and even with Chandler, we aren't the defensive squads those teams are. I mean, we're closer now, but it's the potential lack of offensive efficiency that's killing me. I guess we better get used to Amare and Melo diving into double teams again.

not really. whats it going to cost us? 5 points at max. All we need Tyson to do is rebound, defend, block shots, run the floor, and stay healthy.

We need a PG so badly. I pray that Donnie pulled a rabbit out of his wheel-chair and Shumpert is the real deal. You can't magically become unselfish over-night though, and we have 0 guards on this roster who are unselfish.

Maybe so, but that's not what he says. He's adamant about being able to play point guard.

Rose, Westbrook

How well did Westbrook work for OKC in the playoffs?

Have you seen Landry play a full game before last season?

LMAO

Our offensive efficiency, which wasn't that great to begin with, is going to take a nosedive unless Melo all of a sudden becomes Larry Bird

hes trying to maximize his value. He is much more valuable at PG then SG.
