People saying we won't need any offense, we have Melo and Amare, must not have watched our playoff series last year.

LMAO

Our offensive efficiency, which wasn't that great to begin with, is going to take a nosedive unless Melo all of a sudden becomes Larry Bird

Worst case, we have to wait another season to get someone, probably Nash, with the MLE.

Grant Hill would've been a huge signing. Would give us great defense and ball-handling. Hopefully the reports he used us as leverage again are false.

Best case is we get Baron Davis, I guess.

Rose, Westbrook

How well did Westbrook work for OKC in the playoffs?

considering they ran into a loaded Dallas team, I don't think it was all westbrooks fault.

We don't need any scoring out of Tyson beyond put-backs. We have Melo and Amare for that. Now who we get to feed them is the question. Hopefully Nash or Felton next season.

On Chandler, if he stays healthy and gives us that elite presence down low and on the boards we've been screaming for then it will be a transformative signing. We can come out of the east THIS YEAR.

Wasting a year of Melo and Amare's prime to get CP3 on a bare bones roster was never realistic. This was the most sensible move.

Finally we have a definitive team. It's been about 5 years since the Knicks could be described as anything other than make-shift. In my opinion it's worth it for that alone.

I swear I thought I was reading my own post..... LOL... good job..

This is definitely gonna be a problem.

We didn't get Chandler for his scoring, we got him to defend the paint and be a defensive presence. We have two guys who score the ball pretty well already.

It's going to be ugly... This team needed a top flight distributor more than it needed Tyson Chandler.

We have enough scorers on this team. We dont need prime Kidd here. We just need a solid PG. And its the coaches job to get this team efficient. If he doesnt hes not here next year. Tyson was a must for this team. A nobrainer.

Dallas said they weren't interested in Billups.

Please read what I wrote.... DAllas sign Chandler and trade him to us for Turiaf... can it happen under the cap saying Chandler's salary starts at about 12 or so? That way we can keep Billups at anassett to get CP3... does that sign & trade work under the cap?

You're right. It was only 99% Westbrooks fault.

Our backcourt is putrid.

That seems unnecessarily harsh when we've got Douglas and Fields, both of whom played very well at times in the backcourt, and on top of that we drafted a promising combo-guard. We do need a veteran point guard, but there's some exaggerating going on.

Who do you describe as solid? We need someone who can run the PnR and shoot, at a minimum.
