Stern retiring??

Stern: “It’s fair to say this is my last [CBA negotiation]. It’s a 10 year deal with a re-open in six.”

He screwed another small market, made sure Lakers are a dynasty again .. Yeah, his work is done

Comment From Manu is Overunderrated
Bynum ain't enough for Howard? Right?

Zach Harper, Daily Dime Live:
This is a team that traded Rashard Lewis' horrible contract for a WORSE AND LONGER CONTRACT!

Curtis Harris (Hardwood Paroxysm/TrueHoop Network):
I've not checked the math or seen the latest incarnation, but I bet Okafor heads to LA... *grasping at straws*

"Hey guys, I heard you nee-, woah, what's everyone so mad about, lol."
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

My idea of the Lakers being able to sign Dwight can/will become reality, cause I forgot one thing.

Let Bynum walk
Have CP opt out
AMNESTY Artest

=> 32mil to spend on CP3&Dwight

So, who do we hate most, Lakers or Heat?? Go HEAT !!

They can Amnesty a contract, let D.Fish retire, Dump a small contract and force us into a bad spot.
Either they dump bynum and sign D12 and Paul with cap space or we trade Bynum and a pick for D12. Either way we could be in trouble. If Otis does not get the feeling Dwight is staying send him packing now.

We haven't even done anything yet. They should be roasting NO and HOU instead.

Yeah, if Dwight leaves to LA, I'll be hoping MIA or NY wins the next few championships...

They wouldn't have that much - even if only Kobe and Paul's rights were on their salary total entering free agency next summer, they would still have $48.5m committed: $28m for Kobe's 2012/2013 salary, and a $20.5m cap hold for Paul (his previous salary x 125%). Not enough to go after Dwight outright.

Also, you have to think about it from a practical POV - if they go under the cap with only two players on their roster, and they use all their space on Dwight, then all of their remaining signings will have to be for the vet minimum. Obviously there will be no shortage of players wanting to play there, but as people saw with Miami, filling a roster with min salary guys after signing three max guys doesn't create the most balanced team. Too much workload on the stars, not always enough guys to step up and take the slack with things get tough.

Their best hope for Dwight is still a trade.

The sickening part is if LA only gets CP3 they got rid of 29Mill and only took 16Mill back.

Otis is just waking up to the news

I got news for you. There was this guy who is a new signee to RealGM that I have been arguing with on the Heat forum for two days.

He is a heat fan, but said it from the beginning that Chris Paul and Dwight Howard will be Lakers.

He said he will reveal his identity, but knows from true sources that this will happen.

He said Dwight will join the Lakers as a Free Agent next offseason.

Well, a bunch of us gave him hell the whole time and I was pretty brutal on the guy. He didn't rub it in that bad just now, but said just wait and see.

Now, Chris Paul is a Laker and they still have Bynum available to trade for Dwight or can get Dwight as a Free Agent next summer.

Want to knkow why. Because, they will be at around $65 salary next offseason and could Amnesty Pau Gasol to get to $45 million and Give Dwight a Max Contract.

Everything this guy said since signing a few days ago came true.

Plus, Dwight is still not saying if he will stay or go.

If this does happen as this guy says, I truly will hate the NBA and never watch or discuss this game again.

How do they amnesty gasol when he plays for another team?

Please Otis dont load us up with long contracts trying to please Dwight, If we hold onto him we could be Cleveland 2.0!

Look at the situation, the Lakers will be rdy to sign D12 and I have a hard time seeing him turn down the chance.
