Just no. Did you see TD at PG last year? The dude has zero vision, Billups was so much better at moving the ball around but he was also a chucker, we need a solid PG and hope we can get one somehow.

Chauncey chucked the hell out of the ball too. TD's vision improved during that end of the season with that 7 game win streak.

He didn't do too bad against Boston. The defense against Rondo was more so the problem but he had two badly hurt shoulders. I can't hold it against him.

I agree with you, Chauncey leaving doesnt bother me one bit like it does some of the other people on here. I just think we need a better guy to move the ball than Douglas or else everyone will be standing around waiting for the ball like last year. I have a feeling people forgot Chauncey had some awful games last year and was a liability since he got hurt so much. Does anyone remember the '10 feet behind the 3 point line air balls' billups was chucking up??

I love the new direction of our team with a BIG and skilled front court IMO.

We did score over 100points in 5 out of the 6 games where TD started and Billups was out (not including the playoffs).

We will survive.

there's no way bynum should get you howard straight up. he's worth more then cp3. bigs are always worth more. that would be beyond unfair.

he's going somewhere for a trade exception. denver was mentioned.

Ah, OK. trade exception can be used for something (PG) right? Only for a trade, correct?

If D'Antoni can't win with Melo/Amare/Chandler he needs to find a different line of work. A system that can't work with those guys is garbage.

Maybe Lakers have decided to move on from the Kobe era and are actually offering a Kobe/Bynum package for Dwight, and taking on Arenas.

This is the only way I see a trade going down with Lakers and Orlando.

Kobe/Bynum

Dwight/Arenas

Douglas and Shump. Not the greatest defensive backcourt of all time, but very far from the worst.

Someone needs to block Orlando from bending over for the Lakers.

The Nets need to step up and offer 10 years worth of draft picks and their entire roster for Howard, Arenas and Hedo.

Something must me done to save the NBA from another Lakers dynasty that is gifted to them on a silver platter.

I'm torn:

I'll be pissed if they trade Bynum for Dwight straight up or something. That is disgraceful to every Western Conference team.

However, I'll love it if this means the Nets look dumb selling their hopes on him like Melo.

World Peace historically gives Melo fits. Idk about Amare though.

i just pondered this on the last page. it would be pretty cold to trade him. guys like that are usually treated better.

Yup.

Melo - 6'8" 225-230
Amare - 6'11" 260
Tyson - 7'1" 240

Thats a lot of size and athleticism. Guys that can really run the floor.
