This is the only way I see a trade going down with Lakers and Orlando.

Kobe/Bynum

Dwight/Arenas

i just pondered this on the last page. it would be pretty cold to trade him. guys like that are usually treated better.

I honestly don't think the Lakers care.

They know Kobe's on his last legs and Dwight is arguably the best player not named LeBron.

It's much like how we treated Ewing when trading him, except we didn't get a Dwight-calibur player.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SUMMARIZE WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???

I was at work all day and then I got home only to find that my internet is down. I just drove around for 40 minutes looking for an open Starbucks where the internet is working. HELP!

Yup.

Melo - 6'8" 225-230
Amare - 6'11" 260
Tyson - 7'1" 240

Thats a lot of size and athleticism. Guys that can really run the floor.

O Face off the bench too...he's 6'11".
We need a sixth man-type combo forward off the bench (Nachbar maybe?).
And of course a starting vet pg.

World Peace historically gives Melo fits. Idk about Amare though.

but that is my point we have to legit talk about it....so we are comparing the knicks to maybe the best team if they get D12...we are a matchup nightmare we can go huge with Iman at PG, Fields and 2, Melo at 3, stat at 4, chandler at 5...great rebounding team right there!

it would make sense for LA, but I can't see any GM doing that.. now when kobe still has some gas in the tank..

Yeah but LA would be set for years to come without ever having to go through a tanking phase, building around CP3/Dwight.

The Lakers will have no trouble scoring on us, but we will have problems scoring on them

The Nets need to step up and offer 10 years worth of draft picks and their entire roster for Howard, Arenas and Hedo.

Something must me done to save the NBA from another Lakers dynasty that is gifted to them on a silver platter.

yea, it sure does seem as if the lakers get deals that other teams have to give up the owners firstborn for...

I wouldnt be surprised if Dwight went to LA.. They just said this afternoon that the highest revenue sharing by one team will be 50 million and that team is the lakers

Chris Sheridan @sheridanhoops
Highest revenue sharing contribution from any team will be $50 million, Stern said. He didn't name which team(s).

Howard Beck @HowardBeckNYT
I've been told it's Lakers RT @sheridanhoops Highest revenue sharing contribution from any team will be $50 million, Stern said.

So im sure they want the lakers to make a lot of money for a very long time.. Most them teams are banking on them..

Drank ain't coming. Lost in the madness is that he has better offers than the minimum deal we offered....one from the Nets even. So chances are he won't be back.

We can still win the East with the lineup we now have. I feel Shump at PG is a good fit because of his size, his speed, explosiveness and there is no reason why he can't play that position.

He has experience as a PG and he certainly isn't a dumbass when it comes to absorbing info like Douglas.

I am so f'n happy. Finally a center who can play center. He can bang with the big ones and run with the smaller ones. Perfect for MD's system.

F'k Chris Paul.

F'k the big 3 ....any big 3

We finally got ourselves a center who will compliment Amare and Melo soooooooooooo well.

Damn !!!!! Knicks are back !!!!!! Oh did I say f'k Chris Paul ? Yep I said that already.
