Where the hell are the Angels getting all this cash?

I bet Nolan Ryan is tearing out what little hair he has left.

He's gonna be paid like an ace when in reality he's a number 3 starter (or 2 on a really good year). He's the next AJ Burnett.

Wilson is much closer to being legit than AJ was when he signed the Yankees contract

Ok seriously what is the Angels payroll at now? They just added 40 mill/year in one day. Add that to wells making close to 25 mill, how much are they spending in total?

well looks like the breakdown of cj's contract is 10 and 11 million the 1st 2 years, then i believe a lot of their dead weight becomes free as the last 3 years of his deal escalate to 16 18 and 20 million a year

plus there's plenty of speculation that they'll now look to deal ervin santana for a lesser pitcher and a bat

Also a new TV deal which will bring in $150 million per as opposed to $50 million.

They structured it right with CJ Wilson's contract.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.
