Well I guess I'm crazy. Don't get me wrong I love the guy but I think he is only a serviceable center/PF

"Serviceable C/PF" = 7-9.5m / yr.

ur crazy

- chuck can play all 3 frontcount positions
- he can run plays from the high post
- he has one of the best lateral defense
- he's great at contesting shots
- above average rebounder
- good ft shooter for his position (something he miracilously improved)
- can score close to the basket
- i can go on forever

im surprised he hasnt been offered anything higher

Chuck Hayes, the two way player, under Adelman is worth 5 millions.

Chuck Hayes before Adelman, the scrappy hustle offensively challenged PF, is not worth it.

Sam Dalembert is the no-lube handy of NBA centers. Sure, you'll take it in a pinch, but...

I skate on the thin edge of RealGM perma-ban often enough without volunteering to indulge your adolescent fantasies. Read between the lines.

Sam. Dalembert. Is. Not. Pleasurable. (unless you're Canadian)

OK, I'm backing off the "Dalembert = dry handy" analogy, since it's dangerous to me and obviously above your sexual pay grade. So, here's the deal:

Dalembert is not very good. He's a black hole on offense. He does not possess the lateral quickness to block shots or be an effective offensive rebounder.

What did the Rox front line lack, last year?

Blocked shots, scoring from the center position, and offensive rebounding.

See a trend?

P.S. I haven't quite finished the math on this, but I'm fairly certain "Big Black Guy" does not include Canadians.

He does not possess the lateral quickness to block shots

oh come on. He's #48 all time in league history of total blocks and #27 all time in league history of blocks per game.

He has more career blocks than Dwight Howard has right now.

Sammy D =1247 blocks in 17,278 minutes played
Dwight H = 1228 blocks in 20,401 minutes played
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Demarcus Cousins pretty much plays the same position, and he's a prospect the Kings would be wise to develop.

Dalembert would have to take non starter minutes to stay on that team. I'd imagine a player would rather start, push bigger numbers and be paid accordingly.
